Oh I absolutely would love if we could get there, Ive been wanting het w/b eyed Melanistic wolves for awhile. They’re just definitely going to be a long term goal due to all the variables for breeding everything into a single wolf. 

Ooh, yeah I’m game to coordinate breeding pairs if we all wanna do that. 

I have one other one - wolvden.com she’s related to the major hetero lines tough but we can still try for hetero pups from her if you’d like! I’m also trying for heteros by breeding females with black eyes to my stud- I can offer refunded breedings to him as well if you’re interested , it’s no problem 

Yeah, there’s really no guarantee and it’ll definitely take some time..

Sorry, I posted before that project post showed up for me. I was thinking of joining it, but I haven’t been getting many trophy drops, so I wanted to wait to see if I managed to get anymore before deciding on that.

Id still be fine trying to get pups from her, the major lines arn’t a problem with me, I just think having some more lines would be beneficial is all. That was the only reason I brought up talk of Tanuki earlier in the thread. Just figured having the same color eyes when breeding would help the passrate for them and I know alot of breeders don’t like IB wolves.

oh i'm really interested in that fox project, but i don't know if i'll be able to get the fox items required to join. :c 

w/b eyed melanistic wolves would be really beautiful for sure! and yeah, that is definitely a long term goal and it will take a really long time to get there. 

oh i think we should decide how strict we want to be about major hetero studs/popular studs in general. do we want completely clean lines or will it be like "mostly clean"? [EDIT: i just saw pastel's post. i personally don't mind if we have tanuki in our lines, but i'd like to avoid inbreeding and i think creating our own lines would be really neat!]

also i like your wolf kiki! she's pretty! and thanks for the offer for your stud! unfortunately i don't have any black eyed wolves haha only white eyed ones.

Yeah definitely inbreeding probably wouldn’t get us v far tbh, considering how much less inbred wolves go for and all that, so keeping a clean line, especially for any wolves we may use for long term goals like mutie-heteros we should probably keep clean

Yeah, until we’re able to get more wolves from less popular lines/lines of our own I think using the popular hetero lines should be fine as long as we limit inbreeding on that front ;) 

I would love to join however I don't have a het wolf. I do have a goal to have one as my Stud is a white eyed Albino with his (future) pair bond partner having black eyes!

Oh yeah, sorry I completely forgot to say thank you to you both for the refunded studdings during the project. The moment I change my stud to a Hetero wolf I’ll be doing the same for you both, im just sorta trying to ride the new blood popularity my wolf has so I can have gc funds is all.

I feel like mostly clean would be fine, but we need at least 1 or two lines that are clean if we wanna really sell any wolves later on though. Just because while IB wolves sell, NIB tends to sell more due to the NIB strict players on the site.
