Stolen currency

Is there a way (like writing to the mods or so) to reclaim currency (GC) that was sent to someone, who was obligated to do art for me, but they didn't? Can mods just give me back my golden cones? I do have messages between me and that person & currency log saying that it was transfered to them. 

i couldn't find anything about it in the official tree carving rules so take this with a grain of salt, but i've heard the site will allow the artist time (a few months iirc) to return an art piece, and if they fail to do so the site with reimburse your gc. it looks like most of your transaction went on on-site, which is good--compile screenshots of as much evidence as you could that the transaction took place and modbox it
