Trophy item drop chance

Heya!

While watching the chat, I noticed (on several occasions) that people mentioned something along the lines of "my lead wolf is high level, I'm having trouble finding enemies that could drop trophies." My native language isn't English so perhaps I'm misunderstanding something here, but what I take from these kind of statements is, that the enemy needs to have a higher level than the lead wolf for a trophy item to drop. Is that true? Or do trophies always drop but the chance is higher if the enemy has the higher level? Is there something like an official post that tackles this topic?

As far as I know, your lead wolf has to be lvl 10 or higher to have a chance to recieve a trophy in battle. Enemies of a level higher than your lead have a higher chance of dropping a trophy. Enemies of lower levels also have a small chance of dropping a trophy, but I've seen conflicting information on this: some people say enemies 5 levels below your lead can drop a trophy, while others claim it's only 2-3 levels below.

So it's still possible to get trophy items if the enemy's level is lower than that of my lead wolf? That's good to hear, thank you!
