About those fox app drops...

So with the recipe/applicator does that only come from red foxes (not swift etc) or all foxes? And is there a certain level threshold where those recipes are more likely?

Im pretty sure you have to be level 10+ to get trophy drops then the animal has to be at least level 10 and no more than 5 levels under you

I'm not sure what level you have to be to get trophy, but I do know the enemy can be no more than 5 levels under your level to get a drop. It's recommended to fight higher level enemies as the drop rate is higher. I'm pretty sure all foxes drop canine claws and skulls, but the pelt colors and tails are specific to the fox breed.

The base and eye applicators can be found with any fox type. I found my base on a gray fox.
There is no threshold where a drop is more likely, but as people mentioned above you can only find trophies or items from fights once your lead wolf hits level 10. From that point on a foe must be at a higher level than you or no lower than five levels to drop a trophy or recipe. Even then the drop rates are quite low. You're most likely going to get meat chunks, stats, or healing salves. The only thing you can really do is keep going at it and hope you get some good luck, or buy one when it hits the trading center.
