☼RAVENTIDE☼

☼Basics☼

Name: Raventide

Age: 2 Years, 7 Moons

Gender: Male (He/Him)

Sexuality: Demiromantic Bisexual

Rank: Warrior

Desired Rank: Deputy, but content with staying a warrior

Relationships:  Mother - Fadeddove (Alive; NPC)

Father - Crookedcrow (Alive; NPC) Grandmothers - Littlebird (Mom's, Deceased) || Fallingfeather (Dad's, Deceased)

Grandfathers - Jaggedflint (Mom's, Deceased) || Badgerstripe (Dad's, Alive; NPC)

Brother - Heronheart (Alive; Adoptable)

☼Appearance☼

Description: Raventide is a mostly whitish, silvery male (mother's side) with dark tabby striped legs (father's side). He got his eye color from his mother's side, specifically his grandfather Jaggedflint. His whole pelt has a nice gradiating ombre effect that is nice to look at, soft on most eyes in dull light. His unique tear-like markings running down from his eyes is a special trait from his father's side.

Eye Color: Pale, icy blue

Pelt Color(s): White, silver, blueish-grey, dark grey

Scars/Other Features: Unique tear-like markings

☼Characteristics☼

Personality:  +) Intelligent: Raventide is a very smart tom, always thinking things through before rushing into them, especially if it includes combat in any sort of way. /) Antisocial: Raventide is a tom that tends to keep to himself, very rarely letting others into his personal life. He is slow to trust, and if he ever has alone time, he will treat it like royalty.

-) Easily Aggressed: While witty and an introvert, Raventide is still a very aggressive tom when need be. If someone gets on his bad side, they'll have a very hard time getting out of it.

Biography: Raventide, as a kit, loved playing with his brother Heronheart and listening to tales from all four of his grandparents. However, when sickness killed off three of them, leaving the last one weakened, the harsh reality of death began to settle on his shoulders at a young age. He started spending less time with his family, especially his father Crookedcrow. He didn't want to get too attached to cats he knew he'd only lose in the end. When his apprenticeship started, he trained diligently under his mentor and learned everything possible from them. When his warrior ceremony came around, he was extremely proud of the hard work paying off. Now, he just busies himself with providing for the clan as well as he can in their new environment.

He tends to use them as a way to lift moods in darker times, as well. -) Brash: Shadedfern can tend to be quite brash in a noisy and energetic way. He likes being loud!

Biography: Shadedfern lived an overall joyous life as a kit, having the happiness of his siblings to rival his own. They'd constantly be tussling and skirmishing, and because of his bigger size, he usually won and got the boasting rights. He would always be super happy to tell his grandparents that he won, and when his siblings were saddened by it, he always cheered them up by saying he would let them both overpower him the next round, and he is certainly not one to break his promises. He trained well as an apprentice, but almost always found socializing more fun than becoming a full-fledge warrior.

☼DAYSTEP☼

☼Basics☼

Name: Daystep

Age: 2 years, 3 moons

Gender: Female (She/Her)

Sexuality: Bisexual

Rank: Warrior

Desired Rank: Deputy

Relationships:

Mother - Dappleflight (alive, NPC)

Father - Onyxclaw (alive, NPC)

Brother - Ravenpaw (deceased)

☼Appearance☼

Description: Daystep is an average-sized, slender she-cat. Her pelt is certainly unique, with both her face and body being half black (Her father's side) and half orange tabby colored (Her mother's side). She has a bit of cream on her chest, as well as her front and back right toes.

Eye Color: Yellow

Pelt Color(s): Half black, half orange tabby

Scars/Other Features: N/A

☼Characteristics☼

Personality:

Compassionate: Daystep has an incredibly kind heart, and generally tries to find the good in everyone. Despite this, she keeps a level head and doesn't let her emotions guide her decisions.

Loyal: She is loyal to a fault to her Clan and those she cares deeply about. She closely follows the Warrior Code and isn't afraid to call another out if they're breaking it.

Outgoing: Daystep is a very social cat who loves to make friends and form close relationships. She considers herself a great listener and tries to give advice when she can.

Biography: Daystep was born into a litter of two, including her and her brother, Ravenpaw. Their mother nearly died in labor but was able to pull through. She retired as a warrior after this and became a permanent Queen, helping other expectant mothers with their pregnancies. Daystep and Ravepaw were inseparable growing up; always wrestling and exploring the camp as often as they could. They were both very eager to become apprentices, and when the time came, they took it very seriously. As time went on and they trained to become Warriors, they began to drift a little further apart. Daystep was laser-focused on becoming the best Warrior she could be, while Ravenpaw seemed to lose motivation and not care as much as he once did. She confronted him about this as she caught him daydreaming during a hunting lesson, and was met with frustration from him.

About a moon later, they were on a patrol with another apprentice as well as two warriors, one being her mentor Tigertail, when they caught the scent of an unfamiliar animal in their territory. A few moments later, they were told to run by the warriors, but it was too late; a feral dog barreled through the underbrush and snatched a frozen Ravenpaw into its jaws, snarling. Daystep tried desperately to save her brother but was forced to run by the two warriors, leaving her brother behind. This event caused immense sadness for both herself and their parents, and it took several moons for Daystep to become her happy, peppy self again.

When the time came for her Warrior Ceremony, a part of her felt she didn't deserve it. She could have tried to save her brother, but didn't. She was named Daystep, and though her parents and mentor were incredibly proud, she sat vigil that night thinking only of her brother, and how he should have gotten his warrior name with her. Presently, she's been working very hard to help keep the clan running smoothly after their move and is willing to do whatever possible to keep it that way.

☼Basics☼

Name: Dawnpaw

Age: 8 moons

Gender: Tom (he/him)

Sexuality: Demisexual

Rank: Apprentice

Relationships:

Specklethorn - mother; deceased

Coppersong - father; deceased

Leopardbite - grandfather; living (adoptable)

Shadedfern - mentor

☼Appearance☼

Description: Dawnpaw was one of those unfortunate handsome cats who allowed their appearance to go to their head. He's covered in thick golden fur that appears to glow in the sunlight. He's known for keeping his pelt practically spotless with hairs that lie down on top of one and another perfectly, carrying the scent of cedar and smoke. His hair appears to build up along his chest and thickly muscled neck, giving him a lion-like ruff of lighter coloration. Dawnpaw's tail is long and feathered, while his ears are tufted at their tips. He lacks white spotting, but appears to have smoke underhues that lighten his coat. Dawnpaw is covered in darker, notably thin classic tabby stripes.

Although still young, Dawnpaw appears as if he'll grow to be a larger sized moggy. For now he appears a little disproportionate, given the size of his square-shaped head and powerful chin, along with his awkwardly large paws. As he first started out as an apprentice, he was a bit of a hotshot. He was a good-looking tom with boyish features and a charming grin. After the accident with the monster, Dawnpaw broke his jaw. The tom, although still with remnants of his formerly handsome self, has a crooked jaw and a snaggletooth from one of his lower canines. He has a shrewd pair of pale eyes, often narrowed in a scornful manner.

Eye Color: Pale blue-green

Pelt Color(s):  Long-furred red smoke with ghost stripes

Scars/Other Features: Broken jaw and snaggle tooth

☼Characteristics☼

Personality:

+ Focused, diligent, considerate

/ Dynamic, emotional, moralistic

- Reactive, haughty, impatient

Simply put, Dawnpaw had been a very undesirable character for several moons, painfully proud and rather disrespectful of others. All in all he'd been a spoiled single kit for several moons, and so he relished in his popularity when he first became an apprentice, and expected everything to be handed to him. He didn't always play nice- he's always been reactive, known for being sharp-tongued and argumentative when he doesn't get what he wants. Deep down, he had nothing but himself and his mother. That had been enough for Dawnpaw.

That was, until the accident. After his mother was killed and he suffered from injuries of his own, Dawnpaw changed. He's become much more focused on improving himself, know that he feels hopelessly alone because he's driven everyone else away with his attitude. As a result, he's trying to be the best future-warrior he can possibly be: he works hard and is always driven towards the job at hand. He's effective in completing tasks no matter how tedious or annoying. He may complain or say a sharp comment or two, given that his old ugly side still likes to shine through from time to time. Nonetheless, Dawnpaw will cool off after a few moments and apologize for his behavior. He can be very considerate- he wants to make friends, even though he's become reserved and relatively asocial because he finds himself "ugly". Now that he's taken the back seat, he's learned about his clanmates. Dawnpaw can notice minute details: such as what one cat likes to eat, or what their favorite bedding type is, or what they like to do for fun. Sometimes, he'd like to have friends so he can give them such thoughtful gifts.

While he is doing his best to change to become a more likeable cat, Dawnpaw still has his not-so-pleasant moments. He has a tendency to brag over his accomplishments and get a little too competitive for comfort, despite his efforts to calm down. His excessive pride is obnoxious, but arguing with him over it won't help, because he'll only get more heated. Dawnpaw's prone to wearing his patience thin with other cats, hence his tendency to be independent because not all cats are "reliable" enough for him. It's best to let him cool down if he gets too irritated. He may have his problems, but Dawnpaw's trying his hardest to overcome them. Now that he's healing, he hopes to change into a respectable, calmer warrior that kittens may one day look up to.

Biography:

Dawnkit never had the privilege to meet his father. His parents were known for being temperamental bullies as apprentices before eventually chilling out as warriors, making their amends and aiming to protect SunClan and serve them to the best of their ability. Coppersong was the go-to-guy for patrols, known best for his tracking abilities and defensive moves in battle. He was a big guy- maybe not the best at maneuvering and catching prey, but he could protect and serve like none other. Speckletalon learned of her pregnancy a year after the duo became mates- their engagement had not come as a surprise, given that the pair were "apprenticehood sweethearts" and had been close since they were young. They officially became partners the day of their vigil, swearing their love for one and another beneath StarClan.

SunClan was once again having a stray dog problem, and while Speckletalon was in the nursery, he led a patrol to drive off the dog. However when the patrol returned, Coppersong was no longer with them, and the dog was still a threat. Unfortunately, they had failed in driving it off, and it had taken the tom as its prize.

Speckletalon was mournful, given that she had lost her most dearest friend. Her father, Leopardbite, was a seasoned senior warrior who was adamant on helping his daughter raise her kits. He was all she had left as well, given that his mate had died a few moons earlier. The family only had one litter, and Speckletalon was the only kit born. He had a family history of having one-kit litters.

It would appear that Speckletalon inherited this curse as well, for she birthed only a single large tomkit. He was born at dawn, when the sky was a creamy-gold like the fur of Coppersong. She named her son "Dawnkit", in honor of the scene, and she loved him dearly. She spoiled him rotten, letting him get whatever he desired, always telling him that he was her moon and stars. Dawnkit was the only remnant of Coppersong that she had left.

Naturally, her spoiling got to Dawnkit's head. He was one of the bigger kittens in the nursery and happened to be somewhat of a bully. He would always be the leader in their games, getting into heated arguments and practically exploding on others if he didn't get what he wanted. The other queens scolded Speckletalon for spoiling her son, arguing that she needed to reprimand him for his behavior. She never had the heart to do so.

Dawnpaw wasn't a pleasant apprentice, to say the least. While he did excel at battle-training, his paws were large and he was a clumsy hunter. The easily-frustrated tom would take his anger out on his mentor, and never took criticism well because his mother failed to ever scold him. He didn't like training- he didn't like his mentor, and he didn't like failing. So whenever he got frustrated, he would find reprieve in his mother, who would take him on long walks to calm him down.

Speckletalon began to see the fault in her raising. She tried to take a gentle approach, spending evenings explaining to her son that he had to play nicely. She would tell him stories of his father, and how he became a great and responsible cat after he owned up to his mistakes. Dawnpaw didn't take to it well at first, but he was slowly beginning to see his mistakes. He just had too much pride to own up to it.

He was seven moons old when he and his mother went hunting near the thunderpath. They were tag-teaming a squirrel when it broke out of SunClan's territory and made a break for the road. Dawnpaw was running behind her mother when suddenly a monster crashed into them, killing Specklethorn on impact and severely wounding Dawnpaw, for it clipped the side of his head.

When he awoke, he as in the medicine cat den, and he felt hopelessly lost after learning his mother had died. He was restrained to the medicine cat den for almost an entire moon, where he learned that he was now hopelessly ugly. The accident had broken his jaw and left him with a snaggletooth. He had minor head trauma as well, so he had to recover before he resumed his training. But most of all, Dawnpaw had to recover from the loss of the only cat he knew.

His grandfather, who once told him stories, refused to visit him. Leopardbite blamed Dawnpaw for Speckletalon's death, and had since disowned him. Dawnpaw had nobody but himself, and he was quickly regretting what he'd done. His attitude and ego had driven away any possible friends, and now, he'd killed the only family member he'd known. He'd have to build a family of his own, and he felt hopeless because he knew nobody would want to be apart of it. Not with a cat who was ugly, inside and out.

The fires hit when he was still in the medicine cat den, soon to be released. He was one of the first to escape, but felt disoriented and lost as they began to move out. He has since grown reserved, unusually quiet now that he's lost the only home he's ever known as well...without the opportunity to even visit his mother's grave one last time.

One night during leaf-bare, he decided to sneak out with some of the other kits to catch prey.

Finally, Creekkit became an apprentice and earned the name, Creekpaw. His mentor was a loyal warrior called Featherfoot. (NPC) He trained hard and well to become a warrior. He was excellent at hunting and was even better fighting. He was brave when it came to battles and his strength helped. He always protected his clan and leader, along with his mentor. But sadly at a battle Featherfoot died from his wounds. Creekpaw fought hard after his mentors death, he wanted to make not only him, but the clan proud.

Creekstep was still fairly young when he earned the respect of his clan. Everyone believed him and looked up to him. He had always dreamed of becoming deputy, then leader. But sadly, he could not. As a senior warrior he had many cats respect him.

Creekstep met a beautiful she-cat named Lilywood. He was still a very young warrior but, he liked Lilywood so much. Three moons had passed and he finally decided to tell Lilywood. They became mates soon later and had four kits, Woodkit, Flowerkit, Meadowkit and Hawkkit.

Creekstep awaits the day he earns a apprentice. Many cats believe that he is bound to become a mentor soon. Creekstep hopes that his apprentice works hard and is loyal, like himself. Creekstep just knowns that day is soon.

Creekstep fights hard and is loyal to his clan. He is best at battles rather than hunts.

Creeksteps Story-

" Ha, I got you ! " Creekkit giggled as he pounced onto his denmate, Crowkit. They both toppled over as they rough housed all over the nursery. Crowkit got up and started dashing across the floor, " Haha you can't catch me ! " she teased, "You're to slow ! " Creekkit giggled and chased after her, kicking up grass with his hind legs as he dashed. A familiar grey paw made them fall over each other. "What are you little fur balls doing? " Said the tom, with a playful voice. "Oh, hi Stormwind" said Creekkit, looking at the huge muscular, tom towering over him. Stormwind was Creekkit's father, and he always found a way to annoy him and Crowkit. "You two are going to be apprentices tomorrow; you shouldn't be running around the nursery like newborns." Stormwind continued, "you should be getting ready to become a warrior." Creekkit rolled his eyes and padded back along side Crowkit.

Dawn had risen over the horizon, sending a warm light into the nursery. Creekkit began to stir along with Crowkit. Creekkit sprang up, remembering what today is. Creekkit ran out of the nursery, scanning all the cats to see who he wants as a mentor. "I want that cat!" he exclaimed. Willowpaw, a grey-blue, huge she-cat padded along besides him, "You don't chose your mentor; The leader does." Willowpaw let out a long purr of amusement, she flicked her tail and padded off the the elders den; a mouse clenched in her jaws. Creekkit watched her go, slightly annoyed. Crowkit slowly walked out of the nursery, yawning and stretching she walked besides Creekkit. They both padded up the front of the HighRock as their leader called a clan meeting. As the words were said, Creekpaw now had the mentor Featherfoot.

Creekpaw moved silently in the undergrowth, his tail held low. He had caught the scent of a mouse and was stalking up on it. When it came into reach, he pounced. The mouse tried to dash away, but Creekpaw's jaws met it first. He dug a small hole and placed his catch in. He was doing very well at his amusement, he had caught many mice, a rabbit and a vole. He was well aware that his mentor, Featherfoot, was watching him closely. He opened his mouth to taste the air, he smelt a gross scent. It had the smell of a cat but still of crow-food. "A loner!" he said to himself. His fur puffed out as the new cat came into view. Without warning Creekpaw let out a spit of rage and pounced onto the rouge, claws met it's fur. The cat spun around, nocking Creekpaw off balance. Creekpaw hissed and aimed for the cat's shoulder. The cat yowled in agony as he latched onto it. Nipping at it's ear it ran off. Featherfoot came into view, "That was very good. And so is your hunting. I will talk to leader about you warrior ceremony." Creekpaw nodded and picked up his catches on the way back to camp. He looked proud and determined.

Creekstep was laying down in his nest, fast asleep. His pelt shown in the moon-lit night. He began to stir as dawn stretched over the horizon. Many cats were already moving about around the camp. Apprentices carrying pack fresh kill for the elders; warriors were coming and going from patrols. Creekstep yawned and walked out of the den. He trotted to the entrance of the gorse tunnel leading to the outside. He decided he would go hunting alone. He enjoyed peace and quiet, at times. He went to the far side of the redwoods, it is the best to find rabbits there. "I might be able to find a few mice as well." he muttered to himself. He was distracted by his own thoughts when he heard a tiny paw-step in the undergrowth. Immediately, he fell into a crouch; stalking the rabbit silently. When he was close enough he sprang into the air, dashing after the swift rabbit as it ran. A few tail-length ran, and he caught up to it and bit onto the back of the rabbits neck, killing it in one blow.

After, what felt like a moon of hunting, he took his catches back to the fresh-kill-pile. He flicked his ear an padded along side his best friend, Crowwing. "Oh, hello Creekstep!" Crowwing mewed, she began to lick her paw and drew over her ear. She washed herself as Creekstep explained how his hunting 'mission' went. "That seems nice," she continued, "how come you didn't invite me?" Creekstep looked at her and smiled, "I don't know you kind of are." Crowing playfully wacked his head with her paw, she purred and pounced onto him. They began to play-fight outside the warriors den like kits.

He stared down at the kits, who were playful and full of energy. Then his stare changed to his mate, Lilywood, who was watches their kits with love and interest. Meadowkit looked just like her mom; a fluffy white with brown splotches. But she had his sage green eyes. On the other hand, Flowerkit, was a calico female with bright yellow eyes. Woodkit was a fluffy black tom with white spots and orange eyes. He looked down onto them smiling and his eyes full of love. He knew they would be strong warriors, the best of the clan.

Creekstep yawed and padded out into the clearing, he felt like he slept for moons. Stretching, he went over to the gorse tunnel; leaving the camp to go hunting he realized Crowwing had joined him. "Now can I come with you?"  Crowwing mewed and flicked he ear. Creekstep let out a a soft purr of laughter and nodded.

His ears pricked as he heard a small squeak of a mouse. He held his tail low as we silently stalked the small creature. He let out a loud meow as he leaped straight onto the mouse. His claws pierced straight through the fur. Her flicked his tail and placed it into a small hole and covered it with the undergrowth. Crowwing padded up besides him, a squirrel clamped firmly in her jaws.

"That's a good catch." Creekstep purred, tasting the air for any more scents. "And I caught a mouse over there to." She added, pointing her muzzle towards a large fern. He nodded and began to walk over to a group of bushes. He opened his mouth to taste the air once again and caught the smell of a vole. He crouched down and began to stalk towards it. He moved through the large ferns swiftly. When the vole came into view he leaped into the air. He landed onto it's neck with his jaw and bit down, killing it with ease.
