SC on the Tundra?

Is it just me, or did all the SC rewards from the Tundra text encounters with hares and loons vanish? I've gone through that biome about half a dozen times today and haven't gotten any SC, when usually each of the above is good for 2-4 SC, if you choose the peaceable option.

ETA: This is also happening when I choose the "stinky" option in scent choices - every single time, there's been no SC reward.

How much SC do you have saved at the moment? Both on hand and buried. Explore will stop giving out SC if you have 5000sc on your account (might be a different number, but I'm pretty sure it's 5000) :)
