A matter of priority

So after multiple weeks of playing this game, I have finally managed to procure some GC. So there I was looking at the Grove Items debating getting the random marking applicator or wait until I have enough to choose the marking I like and I was wondering what other people did in this situation? When you first got some GC and if the first thing you thought of was getting more markings on your wolf (in other words if you're like me) which did you choose? Should I try to make my lead nice and pretty or should I try to get a nice stud people will want to breed with for money? Want to hear some opinions on this! Thank you!

I saved my GC for pup stages when I first joined. If I were you I'd suggest getting the marking applicator that will let you choose the marking you want, if you have a marking in mind, because I'm not much of a gambler. Also, if you roll over 29 days in a row the game will give you a random marking applicator as a reward!

As for prettying up your wolves versus getting a popular stud, that's all up to your play style. My stud is a secondary source of income whose primary purpose is to have pups with my lead, so I only care about what I might want on my pups. If you plan to build your pack with outside wolves (NBWs or bought from others) you may want to focus your stud on what the market will like. If you want him to make you pretty pups, focus on what will look good with your wolves.

Personally, I don't want to use GC to customize wolves, but that's because I like the challenge of actually breeding those marks onto a wolf. Not everyone's going to find that kind of time commitment fun.

I'd customize the stud first (or get a stud that's worth customizing, etc.)

I was a dumb at first and customized my female lead without putting much thought into it, and eventually had to customize my stud as well. Don't worry about your lead as much as your stud. Your stud will help you bring in some in-game funds at the end of the day after all!

As for what you want, if you have a general theme or design in mind, I'd recommend buying some marking applicators and designing with those. If you don't really care for what direction you go in, you could buy some Random Marking Applicators and see where they take you!

Good luck!

@Evil 💀

My only goal is pretty xD but I think that's what I'm going to do! I'm a little anxious about random apps though because what if it looks bad?

I would recommend picking a stud because it would probably be cheaper than spending GC on grove items (plus you never know what markings you will get, chances are you will just make your stud less desirable) and will earn you back your GC and more in the long run if breed for a long enough time. I used my stud to breed out to other peoples' females and my own females and I made a decent profit. :D I hope this helps!
