There is a lot of helpful stuff on the Game Help board, but arguably the most valuable resource is the Grouse House. They have guides set up for just about everything, and they're constantly updating. My biggest tip for you right out the gate is: Make sure you know how hunting works and that your wolves are compatible! It looks like yours are right now, which is good. You won't want to be dealing with that synergy penalty when winter hits in a few days. Winter makes hunts harder, potentially making it harder to keep your pack fed.

If you have any specific questions, feel free to send me a message!

Some tips I'd give to someone new.

1. Be aware that this is as much a survival game as it is a breeding game. You need to keep your wolf pack fed and happy or else members will leave you. Hunting is much more difficult during the winter and, after you have played for four days, your wolves will be getting sick.

2. I would recommend spending your initial SC on making room for some more wolves. Ideally you'll want 89 at minimum (2 scouts, 5 Hunters, 1 Herbalist a role that comes after day four, and 1 pupsitter though this one is more optional if you aren't interested in breeding.).

3. If there are any wolves that you want to gain stats fast, I'd make them the scout. Scouts gain experience much faster than any other role.

4. Personality type and stats matter when it comes to hunters! Certain personalities do not mesh well together and can decrease your chances of catching prey. You can look up guides to see what personality types work well together or you can pay the personality snake at the crossroads to examine your hunting party for any issues. Certain roles should have wolves with certain high stats. Stalkers require high smarts and wisdom, chasers require high agility and speed, and finishers require high strength. Also, expect your hunting party to stink at first. Your parties proficiency will be low and will only go up when they go hunting. Stick with it and they'll start to get better!

5. Make sure you go to the quest snake and do the tutorial quests. Not only will it help explain game mechanics, but you get some nice stuff out of it too! Additionally, make sure to take those daily quests! They can help bring in some extra much needed SC.

6. Making money in game can be slow moving at the start. Here are some methods that have worked well for me in terms of making cones. Sell all meat chunks and rotting meat to the racoon in the crossroads. If you aren't that big into fighting you can sell Lucky Feet and Healing Salves (you can make them after day 4) for a good amount of cones. Usually 4 goes for 100SC or 1GC. You can try turning your breeding male into a stud, though the market for that is competative. Most folks won't bother unless the wolf has a TII or TIII base and or special markings.

Honestly there is so much more that can be said. The biggest thing to remember though is to have fun and play in the way you like! If you have any questions you can either look up some guides in the User-Created Guides chat or you can ask in Game Help.

If you'd like, feel free to add me as a friend or ask me any questions! I hope you have a lot of fun and make the wolf pack of your dreams!
