Healing salve

Silly question maybe, but I'm trying to decide whether to sell or use the healing salves I've found exploring. How much HP does a use give you? And what about the rich healing salve?

Each healing salve use gives 10 health. They sell best in bulks. Rich healing give 20 health per use.

Yeah, 10 health per healing salve use (two uses per salve). I usually sell mine in bundles of four for 100SC or 1GC, and I keep a stock for myself for the sake of my hunters or for when I have slay quests. Rich healing salves take a LOT of herbs, and I don't consider it worth it. I don't think I've ever made one besides the one to learn the recipe.

Alright, thank you both! (I haven't gotten to the point where you can make the rich healing salve yourself, but I have one from a quest or something? I forget where it came from. I'm constantly low on HP so maybe I'll just use that one myself.)

the rich healing salve is very overrated. It's easier to hoard herbs, burying 5-10 of each for rainy days. Then you just trade in for dandelions and charcoal and set up your herbalist to make five each night before bed. You'll have a decent stash in a matter of days like that.
