How do you gain them?

As of right now, you can either come across an explore encounter that will give you some (With the encounters where there are two options, some lead to SC. The range of SC seems to be 1-4 cones) or you can sell items to the raccoon in Raccoon Wares at the Crossroads. You can only sell 200 SC worth of items a day though.
These are the methods I know of currently (and there's also trading but the economy seems a liiittle unstable right now) and neither of them produce much, but it's something. Hope this helps!

Snake quests are also a good way to get SC! I got 140 from mine today but from what I've read the amount varies. Should be around the 100ish range though.

For me the main thing is the trade center.(Like Moon said it is a bit unstable but....) If you have a big pack sometimes its good to sell them when they hit heat. I sell some of my girls for 70sc+. It just depends on stats, markings and more. You could also sell food, herbs, amusement items, old decor, etc.

How I make most of my SC:

1. Sell stuff to Raccoon. I try to clean him out every day!

2. Do snake and bear quests. I hit up both of those daily.

3. If I have some food left over that I don't need for tomorrow, I sell a food bundle in the Trade Center.

4. If I have puppies I don't need, I sell them. I price them under 25sc for the bear quests, so they'll sell quickly. If I have an adolescent that I change my mind about keeping, then I search for similar wolves in TC and price mine accordingly.

5. I don't buy stuff that I don't need. Being frugal is one of the keys to financial success, both in-game and in real life.
