Remove the energy regen debuff from bonded pair male!

Remove the energy regen debuff from bonded pair male!

I can understand the logic behind having a pregnant wolf's energy regen slowed, as she's currently carrying pups, and she's only slowed for the 5 days she's actually pregnant.

But after creating a bonded pair and breeding my two wolves together, it's rather ridiculous that the MALE is regenerating energy slower than my other wolves. My breeding male doesn't get a debuff when he is bred?

I'm not sure what the logic was behind that, and I haven't gotten to the 5-day point yet, so I'm currently unsure if he will start regaining energy like normal after 5 days.... or if its going to be 30 days. (In which case, I'm never making another bonded pair, because slowed energy regen when the rest of the hunting party/other scout is on normal regen is only slightly less useless than males before bonding pairs was a thing.)

Tl;dr: let bonded males regen energy like normal after they are bred.

Wait wha- this is a thing? whhyyyyy
On top of the two per month cap and the unequal cooldowns this just feels like an unnecessary deterrent. Wolvden devs please. Stop punishing us for trying to avoid harems, there's an entire other game for that playstyle. ;--;

IDK if I'm the minority in this, but it feels like I'm being punished for wanting to bond wolves together!

I bonded my two starter wolves, with the intention of only breeding those two together as a mated pair. They're my only pair, so the weird 2-per-month limit doesn't affect me, but when I reset to 2 breedings next month, I WILL still have to wait until the MIDDLE of next month to breed my wolf again, because of his 30 days cooldown. :T

And he's my scout that I send out to rescout, trying to get him to level 20 before I immortalize him. Before breeding him and putting him on a 30 day cooldown, with my schedule I was able to send my re-scouts out 3 times a day. Now, because of his 3% regen rate instead of 5%, I can only send him out twice. I'm losing out on 33% of his experience gains, likely for the entire month. For him, that's about 1k experience points each day he's no longer getting. :T

Had there been ANY indication I would have my wolf penalized while using this bonded pair breeding feature, I would have just waited for my breeding male to die, then made the bonded male my breeding male. And then bred my two starter wolves together and sent out stud requests for every other wolf in my den. I'd be able to breed them every 20 days, AND no energy drop on the male!

If I was to ever want to make another bonded pair (at this point, I won't be)... I wouldn't want the male to have any sort of pack role other than pupsitter, because of that energy regen loss... and pupsitter is my least necessary role. I'd rather have females, and just pay for the stud. I don't have to feed the stud wolf that way.

:T

I just checked and this was actually reported as a bug and has since been fixed. Kitty stated that she cannot fix the debuff for those already affected but going forward it should not happen again. The code was treating the males in these pairs as though they were pregnant when it shouldn't have been.

So after your male gets through his 'pregnancy' period he should go back to normal and breeding any non stud males in the future should not debuff their energy regen, and if it does it is a bug and should be reported, not an intended feature.
