Oh I want to make it! I've already learned it, though I have a long way to go until I get all of the items.

The nice thing is you can get canine fangs and claws from canines and not just foxes. So I find that very helpful considering that the base needs 20 each of those 2 things.

Considering that I haven't found any foxes I could get trophies to drop from, I'm thankful I can get canine fangs and claws from wolves my level.

If push comes to shove, at least I could trade. ;;

I just sold my fox skull for 60 GC and now im wondering whether or not im going to regret that later haha.  Though at the rate I was going I dont think id be getting the fox base before the dust settles and everyone's got plenty of every part, so I guess I made the right choice?  Only time will tell, but with my luck I bet fox skulls will start going for crazy amounts by the end of today 😅😅

Something I noticed is that as long as one person has the recipe, that player could churn out bases for others provided the materials necessary were available. Extra copies of the recipe could be sold for revenue to buy crafting materials.

Yeah I figured that too Wildtale.  NGL I was thinking maybe that if I find one I might learn it and then charge people refunded breedings to craft it for them(using materials they supply).

No one offered 1000 GC for recipe. There's 1000 GC offer for complete fox base applicator.

@Dzanek yesterday there was a trade with the recipe that had 1000 Gc+ misc items offered on it.
