THE MONUMENT OF KNOWLEDGE

As you wander through the breezy grasslands, you see an massive stone spire ahead of you. It's covered in lichen and a few scraggly shrubs. Walking nearer, a lithe young wolf appears beside you, startling you with her sudden arrival.

"Greetings weary traveler! You've found the Monument of Knowledge: A sacred place to the Rocky Mountain Grand Pack. It holds information about the Pack's lore: Their past, their religion, their lives.

Please, come closer. You're welcome to read as much or as little as you like, but remember: Do not desecrate this sacred place. Only members of the Rocky Mountain Grand Pack are allowed to add to it," the young she-wolf warns.

As you and the wolf continue towards the monolithic spire, you see that the once-smooth walls have been covered with careful writing, thoughtfully carved into stone by wolf claws.

"Here is a directory of The Monument," the she-wolf says, gesturing at a list of words carved into the side, "Just touch one and you'll be transported to that part of The Monument.

This is where I leave you, traveler. Stay as long as you wish, but DO NOT add to The Monument! Travelers like you are allowed only to view, never add!" The wolf states again.

You look at the carvings on the stone; They seem to glow with bluish energy. You glance back at the she-wolf, only to find that she's disappeared. Oh well, guess you'll have to explore The Monument alone.

The Colorado Pack believes in four major deities- known as the Great Wolves- as well as many minor semi-mortal deities, similar to demigods. All the major deities the Colorado Pack are agender, meaning they have no gender. Most minor deities (with some exceptions) are gender ambiguous, with no defined gender

Aysos is the Great Wolf of Fear, Instinct and Protection. The Colorado Pack prays to Aysos when they go into battle or need protection. Aysos protects the Colorado Pack from harm, from illnesses to injuries. Their sacred butterfly is the Viceroy. Whenever Viceroys are seen, they're viewed as a warning from Aysos.

Sysos is the Great Wolf of Serenity, Peace and Wisdom. The Colorado Pack prays to Sysos when they need advice, wisdom or peace. Sysos guides the Colorado Pack through complex situations and helps keep peace between packs and pack members. Their sacred butterfly is the Arctic White. Whenever Arctic Whites are seen, they're viewed as an omen of difficult situations to come. 

Fysos is the Great Wolf of Light, Friendship and Happiness. The Colorado Pack prays to Fysos when there's emotional strife within the pack. Fysos helps keep relationships within the pack stable and positive. Their sacred butterfly is the Sandia Hairstreak. Whenever Sandria Hairstreaks are seen, they're viewed as a symbol of good fortune and happiness to come. 

Rysos is the Great Wolf of Love, Time and Pups. The Colorado Pack prays to Rysos when they're trying to find love, have pups or live long lives. Rysos helps keep the pack alive by giving them puppies and helping them live long. Their sacred butterfly is the Red-Spotted Purple. Whenever Red-Spotted Purples are seen, they're taken as a sign of puppies to come.
