former pack members keep their background and decors

i'm also hesitant to decor my wolves because they won't keep their backgrounds and decors. 

i would love for the background and decor to stay on the wolves for former pack members and past leaders. 

Partial support. Personally, if my wolf died and had a background attached to them I would want the background returned to me because backgrounds are expensive and I would want to re-use it on a living wolf. With that said, I can understand why others would want the background to remain attached. If the background remaining/returned was optional then I would fully support this suggestion.

i can understand why some people would want to remove the background/ decors. 

I would rather have them be able to have backgrounds and decors added, or a toggle to choose to keep / not keep. If I have a wolf going into my dynasty I would rather take off my 4- use background and maybe put a 1-use left background on it instead. I don't want to lose all the additional uses of all my decor by mistake because I forgot to take them off a wolf before they entered the Dynasty. An Opt-In would be preferable to trying to remember to remove it in time if you want to opt out.

I am in support of this idea. Although I personally have yet to invest in a decor or background item I do think that it's silly that when you lose a member of your pack you also lose the items you invested in in whatever you did so. That doesn't seem fair at all. Good for you for having the initiative to voice your thoughts on this.

I'd suggest that if backgrounds/decor are kept on deceased wolves, you should just be able to remove it like you can a living wolf. It will keep from an all-or-nothing toggle. For example, if my deceased wolf had a scar and a background, and I want to remove just the background, then I can.
