I'm new and can't figure out the currency

Hi, I'm pretty new (I never played Lioden which would've probably helped me lol) and I'm having issues with understanding how much the currency is worth and how to best use it (and earn it of course) 

I figured that quests and exploring is the best way to earn the silver ones so far, but i've got no clue on the golden boys

The golden ones you can get from other players in the tc for about 1GC:87SC. You can also buy em in the grove ^^

Oh, I mean- technically, you can’t earn GC for free...

bUt you can trade them for your PRECIOUS, HARD-EARNED SC. (Honestly I don’t think you should do so, though. The SC:GC ratio is pretty wack rn. [EXAMPLE: most SC:GC prices look a little something like 85-100:1, but GC:SC prices are more like 1:55-70. So uhhh...]) so technically you can get them even if you din’t spend a precious penny?? Either way, GC is kinda useless unless you want RAINBOW COLORED/AESTHETICALLY PLEASING HANDSOME WOLF PACK, or you want to save your precious mutie from death’s clutches. :P

(this is a bit confusing, I know XD. Just try your best to understand and you’ll be fine, I think)

Gold cones are the premium currency that you get by paying real money, you can find the options it in the Grove. You can also buy Gold Cones (or GC) from other players in the Trading Center. The current rate is fluctuating but keep an eye out and you can get some for cheap. GC aren't really necessary to enjoy the game, as you can buy GC items with SC in the Trading Center from other players, but you can unlock fun little extras like extra cub stages with them. ^^

I also found that the best way to earn SC, for me, is exploring, doing the quests, and selling any extra items that I don't want. You can sell items at the bottom of the Raccoon Wares page.
