I've wondered this since the beginning of EA but never found the time to ask!

what has sold best for you? aka what has sold fast? i think it would be nice to have a comprehensive list on what should and shouldnt go on the TC!

I don’t put much on the tc but Lucky Foots sell pretty well for me, maybe acorns too though I’ve only put them up a few times

Herbs always sell well for me! In particular, the "rarer" herbs such as kava, pineapple leaf, guaiacum, tobacco. Charcoal sells better than dandelion (both go into the healing salve recipe) for some reason. Sometimes I'll turn very cheap herbs that I have a ton of into these rarer herbs (I double-check that I'd sell three of them for less than or equal to one of the more profitable herbs), just so at the very least I have to list less items.Β

Healing salves ALWAYS sell well.

Amusement items, in particular, bones and feathers, seem to sell rather well in my experience.

SOME carcasses sell well on the TC. Agouti carcasses always sell for a lot, and pretty reliably. Other quest carcasses can sell pretty well too. I'll usually sell my pronghorn carcasses, turkey hen (not tom) carcasses, pheasant hen and rooster carcasses, opossum carcasses, etc.Β

I'm basically always selling my extra crap in the TC, so I think I'm fairly in tune with what's worth the effort of selling! In general, it's almost always more profitable to sell items individually than in bundles, but it sure does make extra work for you.

@ Naike this is GREAT advice, also i agree with that last point lmao. esp when i sell gc or feathers, always gets rough on the ole bones trying to post each individually

When I was in the easier Biome and actually caught large prey all the time I sold Elk Bull carcass quite easily - people seem to want the high use food -those are 20 uses. They sold pretty good at 60 SC (3 per use) but If I wanted to sell fast I put them at 40 SC (2 per use). I also find Influenza cure sells well - it has 2 each of those rare herbs Naike mentioned so is a bit harder to find herbs to make it.Β

One thing to watch is that you dont price things higher than someone can buy from racoon. Like I see 3+ pages of nesting material at 90-100SC and up right now. You can buy it from raccoon for 60 so why would anyone buy at that unless they are new and dont know. If you are looking for fast sales you cant have unreasonable prices.Β

I also chase most of my tier 1 base pups. It costs more in food and amusement items every day to keep them, and people dont seem to want to pay much for them so not worth it to me.Β
