Scar data (Abandoned project)

I think your theories are correct. I believe Scars are classed as 'trophy's' and they only drop after the player reaches a certain level. Moreso, the scars are similar to the +1 additional stat drops, the opponent must be within 5 levels of your wolf (below) or the same level or higher than you. 

I see, I didn't know that's how trophies work! The data certainly suggests it so far. If we're sure enough, that should be added to the first post and/or the guide, I'd hate for someone to fight a bunch of low-level enemies to preserve HP and get nothing for it.

If it helps, I've been trying to fight some lower level enemies that are between lvl2-lvl12 looking for different scars and data. I'm level 15 (just hit 16 but haven't fought enemies yet). Both my scars came from enemies within 5 levels of me, like the above user suggested.

Yeah they defo act like the +1 stat drops then :D That's really good for us all to know, that was my theory too but looking back over this thread, it seems to confirm it :D 

Hello! On my side i didn't get any scar yet, i reached level 12 today, trying to fight not too low ennemies even if a lot of them are cheated and bit me in 5 hits >.> 

No scars but i'm getting trophies x) Bobcat & Coyote tails, elk ear, bear fangs, boar tusks, and cougar skull.

The release notes directly state that scars can only be obtained once your lead wolf reaches lv10. They are also directly referred to as trophies, not a separate category with different mechanics.

• Scars Trophies:
  On Wolvden, after you reach level 10, you will begin finding trophies when you battle enemies. From now on, scar decorations are part of those trophies!

I appreciate the discussion but in this light it's a bit redundant. We knew these things already, the data from players simply confirms it. So let's focus on finding all of them! :>
