Yes, the site rollover happens every night. That progresses the seasons, day/night cycle in-game, and some other site-wide things. Once the site rollover happens, everyone is able to do their account rollover for that day. But account rollovers (for wolf aging, etc) are done manually when you login for the first time each day. If you don't login on a particular day and trigger your rollover, it doesn't happen.
