can wolves die of old age while they’re still nursing?

so, wolves can breed up until 7yrs 2months, but I’ve heard that they can die anywhere from 7yrs - 8yrs old. I just want to know if a pregnant and/or nursing wolf can die of old age before giving birth to pups or while weaning. I looked under the breeding help guide, but I didn’t find any answers there. |
