Sales/Auction advice

I have a very very slow auction thread atm, and I was wondering if anyone had any advice to draw more attention to it?

Do you bump your thread/promote it a lot? I do that (when I have active auctions going, not so much for just the flatsales) and it helps!

I'm afraid there is a lot of competition when it comes to auctions. There are tons posted and, as CaliforniaDreamin' said, there is nothing you can do apart from advertising it in Sales chat or bumping the thread.

And I know there are people (like me) that are not that fond of auctions for various reasons, like that you can only go up with prices (I really saw some ugly pups reaching unthinkable prices that would be impossible to see in TC just because you can only increase the price if you want them) or that you have to open up the thread to see if there is the kind of pups you are looking for, while on TC you have the search feature that let you filter the results.

Of course, with auctions you can earn more (usually more than the pup is worth) and you can sell pups before they wean but they are also more stressful.

Personally, I almost never check auctions threads and, even if I see a pup I like, I don't bother with bidding. I prefer TC and that's why I made a Flat Sales thread so I can advertise my wolves while also having them available on TC. And I managed to sold most of my pups that way.

If you don't have the kind of pups that are in high demand (mutie carriers, rare Tier II, high stats) and that players would want to battle on with biddings, maybe you would have more luck with flat sales
