I agree with Charon. You chose to retire your wolf. You didn't need to do that. You also chose to set a new breeding male and bypass the cool down, also your choice.

You could have customized your lead for way cheaper (if you wanted to). Setting your first breeding male is optional. You could have waited for the cool down. Your breeding male doesn't need to be your lead. I could go on. These are all choices you made. There were more cost effective routes that you decided not to use.
