Speaking of which, I'm looking out for chased NBWs under 2 years old with at least 270+ stats. If anyone find one like that and is willing to sell, feel free to shoot me a note. I'll pay well for them. ;D

So. I'm debating changing Hyron's base to Selene. He replaced Pekelo as my breeding male last week, and will likely become pack leader (…well, either him or Somnus) when Eos dies in a few days. Am I mistaken in thinking he can produce TIII bases because of the Special genetics? I can't seem to find a clear answer, though maybe I haven't looked in the right places or searched for the right info. My other thought is customizing a wolf to replace Eos and making her base Selene to see where it takes me. Thing is, Hyron looks handsome with that Sphalerite base… and the blue is actually not my favorite. I just want a chance as some of those rarer bases I do like. o_o

Anyone know anything or have any thoughts?

According to the TL;DR at the end of the event announcement post, T1/2/3 x Special can produce TIII.

But like you said, unless you like the "neon blue" that is Selene, it's very difficult to mute nicely. I've had success using cream, beige, and brown markings to tone it down. Brown Cover does especially well in that regard.

Thanks for the info, Wildtale! That's what I was worried about. Sounds like it might be in my best interest to apply it to a wolf other than my breeding male for the time being.

Originally for lore reasons my lead wolf was going to be exclusively related to Eos or Pekelo, but I think I'm going to stretch that allowance to either the lead or breeding male. In my pack lore the Alpha and Beta are the two leaders, so… if Hyron is breeding male and his mate is a new wolf, well… I can get away with an unrelated lead wolf as long as one of them is related to Eos. xD

Since somebody just asked recently about G1/NBW/Heritageless studs, I've seen threads trying to compile them before but this new one looks like it's going to be the most well organized so far. (It's T3 specific though, so if you're also fine with T1/T2 U can go find those links as well.) It's got everything separated out by base types as well as first/second generation. Seems like it will be a hugely helpful resource.
