:HardMode: Clan Thread

Not really? That only applies to the Lioden clan, I don't even know if there are rules here already. But over there you are allowed to purchase any 1st gen to add to your pride, and 2nd gen cubs too.

Hello! :) 

The basic idea is that Hard Mode is a challenge to run your Pride/Pack without any outside heritage (without buying or studding to lions/wolves that other people have bred lineages into) in order to get the looks and stats you want in your pride/pack without piggybacking from other players. From-the-ground-up, bootstraps style. :)

We haven't totally figured out how that will translate on Wolvden yet specific-rules-wise, but that's the basics! 

I will post more specific rules as we figure out how best to translate the challenge to Wolvden's new game mechanics. :) In the mean time, if you want to play HardMode style, just focus on not buying or studding to any wolf who has heritage. 

Yeah, I'm excited to see how they adapt the rules to fit WD. :D

The battle system here is kind of brutal haha.

the slow regen of HP really makes you think before engaging in a fight. 

haha, no kidding. Fortunately, it's easy to get healing salves, but you're also gonna want to keep a good stock of them on hand in case of mass infection or something. :D

Yeeeep haha. I've gone through a fair amount of them. I try to pick fights I'm confident in, and take advantage of the HP regen encounters in Explore. I really like that there's some strategy involved and that you can't just endlessly grind through battles. Makes leveling a bit slower but... xD 

I've got the logs I need but lack leaves or rocks to make a new den oml this is a lot easier on LD

I'm not sure what to anticipate entirely with Wolvden yet, but I'll definitely be keeping tabs on this.
