Pregnancy and Old Age

Pregnancy and Old Age

So I understand that wolves have a chance to die between the ages of 7-8. I have two wolves who are currently pregnant and are going to be turning 7 in one or two rollovers. I wanted their pups to be born in the spring to avoid the winter birth penalties to the pups' stats, but now I am worried that the mothers might have a chance to die before they give birth.

Does anyone know if they will be safe to go on with the full pregnancy or should I nest and use an instant birth feather? Thanks :)

if the pups are going to be born before they turn 7 they should be ok, but once that wolf turns 7 there’s always going to be a risk of death; plus, i’m not sure what happens to a female if she dies & the pups aren’t weaned

The mother cannot die while she is nursing puppies, they are safe during that. (I am unsure if that counts for pregnancy too but it definitely counts for nursing moms)
