These books are more historical so they can be a bit dry but they're packed with info.

Greek and Roman Necromancy by Daniel Ogden.

Magic, Witchcraft, and Ghosts in the Greek and Roman World by Daniel Ogden

The Oxford Illustrated History of Witchcraft and Magic by Owen Davies

This book is great overall but has some caveats which were well discussed in an atricle I will post along with it.

Communing With The Spirits: The Magical Practice of Necromancy by Martin Coleman

Book Review, Communing With The Spirits; Article by Nick Farrell

I just think this book is worth reading in general. A bit on the chaos magic side though so be aware of that.

What deities or other entities do you work with if any: I work with the moon goddess Luna and the Christian God.

Do you have a Patron? If so who?: I do not.

Are you an empath. clairaudience, clairvoyance, medium, etc?: Clairvoyance, clairsentience, and clairgonizance. Slight empath. Claircognizance is my most powerful ability.

Do you follow the left hand path, middle path, or right hand path?: Right hand, I believe. I do only workings that affect myself, and very rarely, my partner, and only be positively.

I'm a by-the-seat-of-my-pants witch, and a pagan but the two are not usually related. I really have a deep passion for divination in general, and tarot in particular. I am a follower of what I call Unrecorded Gods, they're a pantheon you won't find written down unless I did the writing as far as I've seen. 

I am not psychic I don't think, beyond some skill at divination.

What deities or other entities do you work with if any: None right now

What kind of witch are you?: Hearth/kitchen witch.

How long have you been practicing?: A decade or so. I've been "pagan" without knowing the word for it since I was a kid. I was born into it, in a way.

What is your religion?: Heathen/Norse Pagan (with some Celtic influence as well).

What deities or other entities do you work with if any: Norse gods. Thor, Freyja, Frigg, Odin, and Heimdall mostly. Also some Celtic and whoever else calls to me; Cernunnos, Lugh, Brigid, and Hecate.

Do you have a Patron? If so who?: Nope. I don't have a "one and only" mindset.

Are you an empath, clairaudience, clairvoyance, medium, etc?: Empath. I've never had any other extrasensory perception.

Do you follow the left hand path, middle path, or right hand path?: Middle/right. I find the concepts of left/middle/right paths to be a bit odd, though. Morality is usually not so black & white.
