Hibernation den

Hibernation den

I thought it would be a cool concept to have a hibernation den. Basically, it would be similar to pup/adolescent/adult slots and immortality. Every slot will cost GC to unlock, each slot gradually increasing in price, the same pricing as the immorality slots. Any age of wolf can be put into the hibernation den except for the lead wolf (which is needed for explore encounters), the breeding male (if listed for public studding), pupsitters (if actively pupsitting), mothers who are nursing pups, and unweaned pups. Hibernating wolves will have both their hunger and mood at 100% and they will be immune to all illnesses. However, they will be unable to breed, hunt, or scout and they will still age unless they are immortal. After removing wolves from the hibernation den there would be a 31-day cooldown period prevent this feature from being abused. The cooldown period can be adjusted accordingly, that is a random time frame I thought of.

I don't particularly like the idea of turning this game into Flight Rising, some of the features from there just do not translate well.

Plus the whole reason I am sure there is not the same two account per user rule like on their sister site of Lioden is to prevent this kind of freezing. It's easy to abuse when you take into account lethals, future markings only available with events, stocking up on higher stat heirs, etc.

@UnheardSiren

Sorry, I got confused by what you meant. What do you mean by 'freezing'? I suggested the wolves would still age regardless of what slot they are in.

@Kat

They would still age, but they would cost you nothing besides the slot investment to keep. So not a full freeze like Lioden allows, but still one that could have dramatic impact on the economy. I should have more said that keeping wolves without having to continuously invest in them is the point I'm against.

@UnhearedSiren

Oh OK, I understand what you are saying now, thank you for clarifying. :) I do not believe it would not have that big of an impact, but I can see where you are coming from. Thank you for your feedback, I appreciate the input! Have a good one! <3

This is would be way, way too easy to abuse. You could simply put all your wolves in the hibernation mode right before rollover to prevent ever having to feed or play with them. Unless there was some sort of cooldown/limit to how many times they can be hibernated. But even then, I don't really think this feature fits the site; wolves don't hibernate.

@kase

You are right about the feature being abused so I went ahead and added that part about the cooldown period into my suggestion, thank you for pointing that out to me. :) You mention how wolves do not hibernate but there are some features on Wolvden that are not entirely realistic either, such as wolves with the honeydew base. The feature I suggested is not so much for realism but more so for convenience because while some things on this game are realistic other things are not.

wolves don't hibernate.

i know wolvden is not realistic.

so it could work.

when you would have to hiberante your wolves in wolvden.

fro right know i'm in between.
