Are wolves with extreme stats better or worse than balanced stats?

Hi guys! I was wondering if some who beta tested or are just playing with wolf stats can chime in. I'm planning out my pack long-term and am wondering if well rounded wolves are better or worse for playing?

I know your lead wolf and scouts have a hard cap where you need X of certain stat to enter higher maps, but I'm asking about soft skills. Does it make fights easier or harder for a lead? Do hunters do better with extreme stats? (Where strong stat is much higher)

I think it depends on what you want to do with them. Scouts are better off being balanced, since different biomes require different stats. Hunters, however, are better off with stats that help them in their role (smarts and wisdom for stalkers, agility and speed for chasers, and strength for finishers). I don't know about different stats helping in fights for leads, though I think I saw someone doing some data collection on figuring that out?

Not sure about lead wolves and battles, but hunters certanly do better with very high stats.

During testing I was in the group that had to get hunting data from wolves with 2000 total stats (400 stats per skill) and my hunting party managed to get large preys almost every time, even in the Prairie. I'm not sure how the game was balanced after those tests, since devs could have changed how often you get successful hunts even with higher stats, but I'm pretty sure the higher the stats, the easier hunting become (always considering biomes difficulty)

About well rounded wolves, we know that each hunting roles use specific skills, so as long as those skills are high, I don't think it's necessary to have all the other skill high too. If you want a strong finisher, just raise their strenght and ignore the rest.

Cool thanks guys! Yeah I'm definitely aiming for high stats I was just wondering if I need to worry about using extreme stats wolves that may become unusable. Or if I would be stunting my hunting teams with more well rounded ones. (but still right stat choices)

Will certainly be interesting to see as the game develops how ppl manage their packs.
