Rescouting & Stats/Rainforest&Glaicer Requirements

Rescouting & Stats/Rainforest&Glaicer Requirements

Hi

So, I need to get my strength and wisdom up to 101 to scout out the glacier and rainforest. Out of 8 rescouts I gained +2 stats.
So doing the math, an average adult who sleeps 8hrs and works 8hrs can get a max of 6 rescouts a day in thats excluding time it takes the scouts energy to refill.

My suggestion is to either make proficiency cut down rescouting time, since you HAVE to be at 100% energy to rescout or just make it more likely to gain stats rescouting(even if the likelyhood goes down once you reach level 20 or lower the stat requirement for scouting the rainforst and glacier to maybe 70-80.

At the moment anyway it could take a long time to get your scouts stats up that high, since there arent a lot of high statted wolves on the market nor are there a lot of high statted puppies for sale yet. Take my scouts for example the one with higher strength has 79 atm and the one with higher wisdom has 60. So if we're getting +1 stat a day from rescouting it's going to take my str wolf another 22 days and my "wise" wolf another 41 days until I can START scouting the rainforest and glacier.

Not to mention the time it's already taken to get the stats where they're at, scouts need a better way at gaining stats during rescouts, during initial scouts they raise just fine. But rescouting for stats is an insane grind.

Sure I could switch a hunter into scouting but they only gain +1 proficiency each rescout at the same time hunting proficiency goes down and I still need a way to feed my pack bc my scout doesnt have any hunting skill either so they're not going to help my party well switching them around.

Just please, another whole month until I can get to the rainforest and another month and a half until the glacier, it's so disheartening..

I'm not sure if I support this or not, but I think I'm leaning towards no support atm.
The game is supposed to be slow and tougher.
I like having to work up towards a goal (like scouting the Glacier) and I like that stats matter. I look forward to my future generations of wolves when I start out with better stats.

More importantly, I don't think your estimate is correct. Yes, you don't gain flat out stats very often from scouting, but you do gain experience. And that means levelling up, which means more stats again.

Overall I think it's too early to make a change to the way scouting and stat-gain related to scouting works. Personally i believe we shoudl give it some time and get a better feelign for it. The game is still pretty new and everyone has starter wolves with lower stats, but this will get better over time, so changing something that is only tough now for conveniece sake just doesn't seem right.

No support for changing the requirements. Glacier and Rainforest are the last two challenging biomes and yes, it is hard to work towards meeting the requirements especially if you don't have time to play all day. But those biomes are not meant to be unlocked easily.
