How does chasing affect the family tree?

If I chase wolves with living offspring, what will the offsprings family tree look like? Will the parents (and grandparents) still show up or will the family tree be unknown?

Adults that are chased have a chance to appear in the chased pool and have one chance of being claimed by a player. Their heritage will be wiped. Pups/adols are just deleted.

I believe you mean what happens to the living (and weaned) offspring, right? Their name should still appear like on LD, and maybe the image if its a parent, but you will not be able to get to the page of the wolf who was chased like you normally can. Again, this is just my presumption based on how it worked on LD, though I believe I have seen this too. (Actually, I can go check since I think I've done this lol)

Aahh yes maybe I was unclear, I meant how will the family tree look on the page, if it will be possible to see a wolfs lineage even if the parents are chased. :)

It seems like you’re right Darklily, the name will show up in the family tree but it’s not possible to click on the name.
