Gender: Female Species: Fenrir Demi-Human Sexuality: Lesbian, and Acesexual Age: 19 Appearance: ![]() ![]() Possesses the ears, tail, and legs of a Fenrir wolf. This includes digitigrade legs, furred lower body, a long, bushy tail, and pointed, sensitive ears that twitch and swivel. Her canine teeth are slightly elongated and sharper than a human's as well. Picrew: link Personality: - Threat Assessment: Anya operates under the constant belief that everyone is a potential threat. This stems from a history of abuse and violence, which has ingrained in her a deeply cynical and distrustful worldview. - Violent Tendencies: Survival has taught Anya that violence is often the only language people understand. She is quick to resort to aggression and possesses a ruthless efficiency when it comes to eliminating perceived dangers. Her fighting style is feral and brutal, making use of her enhanced strength and agility. - Kill All Mentality: Anya's default state is one of simmering rage and a desire to eliminate any potential threats. She sees the world as a dangerous place filled with predators, and believes the only way to stay safe is to be the apex predator herself. - Attachment Issues: While incredibly rare, Anya is capable of forming intense attachments. However, this attachment is possessive and unhealthy. Once she latches onto someone, she becomes fiercely protective and obsessive. - Social Awareness: Despite her violent tendencies, Anya is not stupid. She can assess situations and individuals, although her judgement is often clouded by paranoia and a desire to eliminate perceived threats. She understands that her appearance and demeanor are intimidating, and she uses this to her advantage. Abilities: - Enhanced Physical Abilities: As a Fenrir demi-human, Anya possesses enhanced strength, speed, agility, and stamina compared to humans. - Heightened Senses: Her wolf ears and nose provide her with superior hearing and sense of smell. Claws and Fangs: Her claws and fangs are formidable weapons. - Survival Skills: Anya is highly skilled in tracking, hunting, and fighting in harsh environments. - Intimidation: Her appearance and demeanor naturally inspire fear in others. Weaknesses: - Uncontrollable Rage: When provoked, Anya can fly into a berserker rage, becoming even more dangerous but also more reckless. - Obsessive Attachment: Her possessive and violent attachment style can make her vulnerable to manipulation and exploitation. Backstory: - Early Life in the Pack (Age 0-7): Anya was born into a small, isolated pack of Fenrir demi-humans living in the remote, unforgiving wilderness of Northern [insert world name/region]. Her earliest memories were of a brutal hierarchy. Strength was valued above all else. Her parents, both physically strong, were ruthless in their pursuit of dominance within the pack. Anya witnessed violence constantly, both as a spectator and occasional victim. She learned early that weakness was a death sentence. She was never given the option to make friends and spent most of her time alone. - The Raid and Loss (Age 8): A group of human poachers, drawn by rumors of the Fenrir pack's existence and the potential value of their pelts and unique physiology, raided the pack's territory. The raid was swift and devastating. Many of her kin were slaughtered, including her parents. Anya, small and relatively weak, survived only by hiding. She witnessed unspeakable horrors, including the capture of surviving pack members for experimentation and sale. This event solidified her belief that humans were inherently cruel and untrustworthy. The event also traumatized her, causing her mistrust to become a severe paranoia. - Years of Survival (Age 8-16): Anya learned to survive alone in the harsh wilderness. She honed her hunting skills, tracked animals, and scavenged for food. She embraced her Fenrir heritage, utilizing her enhanced senses and physical abilities to become a formidable predator. During this time, she killed without remorse, viewing every living creature as either a source of sustenance or a potential threat. She developed a "kill or be killed" mentality. She had to learn to be completely independent. She began to think of herself as completely self-sufficient. - Encounter and Betrayal (Age 17): After years of solitude, Anya stumbled upon a small, isolated village. Initially hesitant, she tentatively approached, drawn by the promise of warmth and the possibility of learning new skills. She formed a fragile bond with an older woman, Elara, who taught her basic human customs and language. For the first time, Anya felt a glimmer of hope and the possibility of trust. However, Elara, driven by fear of Anya's Fenrir nature and pressure from other villagers, betrayed her, revealing her presence to a group of bounty hunters seeking to capture demi-humans. - The Escape and Burning (Age 17): The bounty hunters attacked, and Anya, feeling utterly betrayed, unleashed her full fury. She fought with a ferocity born of rage and despair, killing several of the hunters and escaping into the night. She vowed to never trust anyone again. Despite her anger, she spared Elara when she had the chance, not out of mercy, but out of a desire to avoid being like those who raided her pack. She burned the village to the ground as she left, erasing the memory and destroying everything that reminded her of Elara's betrayal. Wandering and Vigilance (Age 18-19): Since the encounter with the village, Anya has been constantly on the move, drifting from place to place, always wary, always vigilant. |

So she looks human, with the wolf-like legs, tail, ears. She's able to turn to full human, though she doesn't do that as she finds it a weakness! |

Age: Not noted, but most likely in his 20s Species: Stag Beetle/Human mix Gender: Intersex (He/Him) Appearance: - Mask: A simple, worn mask obscures his facial features. It is off-white, with subtle markings resembling a stag beetle's mandibles etched onto its surface. The mask is likely a form of protection, hiding his own face from himself and others. - Fur: A sparse covering of fine, dark brown fur covers his body. It's most noticeable around his shoulders and chest, and seems to be more of a sensory organ than insulation. This fur bristles subtly, likely reacting to changes in the environment and the emotions of those around him. - Build: Leighis is likely of a slender build, more suited to agility and dexterity than brute strength. His posture is often slightly hunched, perhaps a subconscious attempt to make himself smaller or less noticeable. Other: - Has slits next to his mouth that helps open it wider - Eyes look to be full orange, but there is a little bit of white on the edges - For some reason, he always looks sad - 5'0 in height Picture(s): ![]() Picrew: link ![]() Picrew link (Original pic is cropped to just be mask) Personality (Sorta?): - Pacifistic Healer: Leighis is deeply committed to healing and preservation. Violence is his absolute last resort. He dedicates himself to mending wounds, alleviating suffering, and seeking non-violent solutions to conflict. He possesses a natural aptitude for healing, perhaps a learned skill or an innate gift tied to his species. - Linguistic Struggles: While possessing a strong understanding of the common language, Leighis battles an immense struggle to speak it. His communication relies heavily on gestures, expressive movements, and occasionally, fragmented phrases. This linguistic barrier may contribute to his reserved nature and his reliance on empathy and intuition to connect with others. - Starvation: Leighis rarely eats, a deeply unhealthy and concerning habit. The reason behind this self-imposed starvation is unknown, but it suggests a deeper issue. Perhaps a form of self-punishment, a rejection of his own physical needs, or a deeper connection to the suffering of others that compels him to share their burdens. - Mask's Significance: The mask is likely a symbol of his past trauma and his desire to distance himself from a previous version of himself, one he perceives as dangerous or undesirable. It also acts as a barrier, protecting him from the intrusive gazes of others and allowing him to focus solely on his healing work. The etched mandibles, while similar to his own, could represent the potential for aggression that he constantly suppresses. Backstory: - The Incident: Leighis's youth was marked by a traumatic event, an accident, a moment of lost control. Perhaps he was provoked into violence, or maybe his emerging stag beetle instincts overwhelmed his human side. Regardless, the event resulted in harm to someone he cared about. The memory of this event, the feeling of the suppressed instincts surfacing, drives his pacifism and fuels his fear of his own potential for aggression. The mask is a constant reminder of this incident, of the face he no longer wants to see when he looks in a mirror. - The Hermit Healer: Fleeing the scene of "The Incident" and the shame that consumed him, Leighis stumbled upon a reclusive hermit, a retired healer living deep in the woods. This individual, recognizing Leighis's potential and his inner turmoil, took him in as an apprentice. The hermit taught him the art of healing, emphasizing the use of natural remedies and the importance of empathy and understanding. The hermit's patient guidance helped Leighis channel his guilt and fear into a positive force, transforming him into the dedicated healer he is today. Before this mentorship, he didn't always carry the mask, but once under the mentorship, it was gifted to him. He was told, "Wear the mask, not because you have to, but because it reminds you of who you are and what you can be." - The Departure: After many years of apprenticeship, the hermit suddenly died from a wasting sickness, leaving Leighis alone to continue his work. He left with a heavy heart and continued the teachings that he was given. Even with the death of his old mentor, he continued to wear the mask and to heal people like his old hermit mentor did. Primary Motivation: To ease suffering and preserve life through healing, non-violent means. |
