working code for show/hide text?

it's been awhile since i've coded and i can't seem to figure out a working spoiler tag. looking for something that functions like <spoiler>. just a button to hide huge chunks of text for my breeding log. please help lol

I'd have to do some testing to see if it would work within posts but I'm pretty sure it would work on profiles as long as you linked to the external CSS needed

EDIT// scratch all that...I just noticed it requires javascript. Not sure if that can be used here. I'll keep looking <3 lol

Probably could do a CSS animation, but I don't know how well that'd work on Wolvden with their coding restrictions. I'd have to take a peek. I'll try sometime!

Could definitely try using an external CSS sheet. It's what I'm using on my profile page if you want to see an example.
