Interaction Between Pack Members

Interaction Between Pack Members

Hello!

First off, I want to apologize right off the bat that wording ideas well has never been my strong suit. I hope my suggestion still comes across. (First time suggesting things here!)

Second, an aspect of the game that bothers me is the limited level of interaction among wolves within the player's pack. While players have the ability to interact with individual wolves (if you can call it that), the inter-wolf interactions are largely confined to activities such as training, hunting, and breeding.

I propose the inclusion of randomized encounters within your den. These encounters would involve interactions among wolves in your pack, ranging from simple disputes to displays of romantic affection between bonded pairs, playful interactions among pups, or challenges to the authority of the pack leader. Players would have the opportunity to interact with these situations, with the nature of the interactions governed by the personalities of the wolves involved. These interactions could influence the player's relationships with their wolves, potentially earning them +1 relationship points for positive interactions or -1 for poor reactions from the pack leader.

Here are some examples;

- A pack member is lazily neglecting their responsibilities. (Probably sleeping instead i dunno.) players would have the option to either reprimand them or diplomatically explain the importance of their participation. (Personality would affect how to "correctly" handle the situation)

- A  pack member seeks to challenge a decision your leader makes. By the player, they could choose to assert their authority aggressively, calmly, or try to compromise with them. (Personality would affect how to "correctly" handle the situation)

- When faced with wolves of conflicting personalities arguing, players would need to consider each wolf's temperament before determining the appropriate response to defuse the situation effectively.

- A puppy starts annoying the crap out of you . No explanation needed

I hope those examples came off well enough. I even think it'd be adorable for pair bonds to be gifting things to each other, etc.

It would just give a better sense of each wolves personalities and reactions with each other, maybe to help bond with your pack members better and taking them into consideration for things a little more than just as generated wolves to use for roles.

PLEASE feel free to add on to my suggestion, as I've only put a semi-basic concept for a suggestion.
