I just wanted to address some of the comments here regarding "ghosting" and a lack of communication. Until a couple of days ago, we were still hoping to launch the event this week, or maybe next week. We only made the decision on Wednesday to delay it. You are hearing this news basically the earliest you could possibly hear it. We were working on the event feature we had planned. We were stressing about not being done even close to when we wanted. In that meeting, we then took a moment to evaluate when we could realistically release it - next week? Week after? Is it even still April at that point? Then we realised that if we released it as it is right now then it would be a pretty empty event - we still hadn't got to coding a handful of things that we consider to be essential in an event, and we were still focusing our efforts on this one feature with no end in sight to be able to appropriately plan a time for release. I'm sorry that we've had to delay it, and we appreciate your enthusiasm for the game as a whole, but throwing around blame that our communication should have been better and that we're ghosting you about updates is just factually incorrect at this point. We decided this three days ago. |
