Sick wolf notifications

Sick wolf notifications

I found something that would be useful for many players.

I just had a wolf with Influenza, which is a highly contagious disease. I don't usually check all my wolves, through my den all the time. Most times I do other things and leave the explore open.  The problem here is, since it's highly contagious, have I not noticed it asap, it could have spread to my whole den.

My suggestion is:

Add a Notification bar for sick wolves.

"One of your wolves is not feeling well. Take me to my Den."

Just like the ones we get "Scout wolf has 100% energy! Take me to scout!", but would read:

With a link to your den so you can check and move your wolf to the respective "quarantine" den (which most users have for cases like this).

Yes, this sounds useful! I often get a sick wolf and don't realize it until I try to get them to do something.

yes, this would be very useful.

i hadn't had any sick wolves. i can see how this idea would be helpful to members on wolvden.

Doesn't the game always tell you when you get an illness? It does in Explore, the Rollover Summary, on your Scouting message and your finshed hunting message; depending on how you got it.

It hasn't happened to me yet but I assume the game would also tell you on the successfully bred message if you contracted an illness.

Yes please! I often only realize my wolves are sick when they run out of HP!

Absolutely support. There are quiet a few spots where the game lets you know wolves are sick- but they're all kinda minute or baked into other things that makes them easy to miss if youre going through things. An additional notification of someone being ill that shows up on top till you go and look at the wolf would help w/ oversights

@Sienna Snow - They do tell you, yes, but it isn't a pinned notification, like it is when a wolf is done completing a task. If your wolf comes back sick from a hunt, and you clicked away from the page too quickly, you can easily miss it. Especially because it doesn't pop back up to remind you. Having some sort of system that periodically reminds you that someone is sick, or a pinned notification about it, would be very helpful, I think. I, for one, am very good at missing things like that, and I have a terrible memory, so if I go to take care of something else I may completely forget that one of my wolves needs attention!

This often happens with my hunting wolves as they get injured quite often! It would be helpful to get a notification once they're wounded so I can heal them asap and get them back into the hunting fray.

Yes! I know there are notifications if your wolf catches an illness in explore or when they come back from hunting or scouting, but I personally rarely see those because I click through them too fast. I’d love to see a pinned notification for it, or perhaps just a clearer and more obvious heads up in the hunting/scouting notices, maybe by making it bold and a different color?
