item to assure pup survival

item to assure pup survival

I didn't see this suggested, correct me if I am wrong

While I love the idea of mortality as a possibility, I believe there should be an item ( GC only to add back to the website) where you can assure a pup survives ( not including lethal mutations). It would be heartbreaking to get your first ever mutation and they die next rollover ( even doing everything you possibly can do currently to protect them) Or you could even pay another  member a large amount of GC for it to die next rollover which would be just as bad!

I agree.

I think even if a suggestion like this gets rejected, maybe there could be something you could craft at the Herbalist to revive a dead pup? It wouldn’t be an easy recipe (requires a lot of herbs and can only be crafted by high-leveled herbalists) and it could require some GC to make it. I know Wolvden is supposed to be more realistic, but it would suck to have bought a puppy only for it to die the next rollover without not being able to do anything about it before or after the fact.

I don't really see why this should exist as you can just get them a personal pupsitter to ensure their survival. 60% pupsitter protection is more than enough to make sure the pup isn't going to die.

Newer members may not have enough  wolfs to do have a personal  pupsitter. Especially  if they have more than one special pup. They could be just starting out or totally re doing their pack, and seeing as most wolfs  for sale are pups, they would need to buy pups

I don't think newer users might have the SC or GC to buy that kind of item either. I'm not exactly against a GC item to boost survival. But I just personally find it a much better choice to, at least, temporarily making a wolf you already have into a temp pupsitter to ensure the pups survival you really want to survive.

I think if your suggestion boils down to let me spend GC to ensure a pups survival, technically you can already do that should you be desperate to keep a pup alive, and theoretically it's easier and cheaper the newer you are. Your pack slots are full, you have your sitters focused on other puppies and you birth a mutated baby that you want at 100% survival, buy some GC (since youre recommending it's a GC item anyways) currency exchange it to SC, buy a new pack slot (if necessary) and buy the cheapest NBW you can find on market without a pupsitting cooldown (or befriend a NBW for free) and stick them as a pupsitter, and put their sole attention on the pup. 60% is more than enough to guarantee that the pup will survive, and as the pup grows you can do the pupsitter shuffle to chase that NBW later.

Only issue with that is getting  SC for GC is next  to impossible  right now (at least what i have seen. )  so it is not a reliable  way to solve the problem.

Definitely not impossible there are ALWAYS SC sales up, just the ratio fluxuates. I'm just saying if there was an item to make your pup 100% protected it wouldn't cost 2g, it'd cost like 10g or more the same as a immortal item does. And for 10g I can get EASILY 600SC, more if I'm patient and watch for good trades. For a new player (the ones who likely would struggle with the pupsitter issue) their slots are nowhere near 600SC. People like me who have slots that cost 600SC likely have a shit ton of pupsitters already, and I'd have absolutely 0 issue pulling one of my 5 pupsitters off my shitty for-sale pups and sticking it on a mutated pup for 100% survival.

I support!

I think an item like this would be really useful for those that are maybe bad at keeping up with feeding their pups / moms, but have like one specific pup (a rare, mutated, or maybe an heir of theirs) who they wanna ENSURE stays alive. I was in this situation once

It'd definitely add to the in-game items, and I don't see how it'd hurt!

I 1000% agree (feeling like they may be one of those people who just spent a lot on a puppy and is in fear)!!
