Option to Make Your Lead Wolf Picture Your Usertag Natively

Option to Make Your Lead Wolf Picture Your Usertag Natively

Hi devs,

I noticed that in Members Online, a user who hasn't set a usertag yet will always show as their Lead Wolf's headshot. However, if they post on the forum, they won't have a usertag at all.

I decided initially that I liked my wolf's headshot as my usertag, so I tried to copy-paste the URL into the usertag field, only to be told it was too big, whether I got the URL from the image I see browsing the site or on the Members Online page. I didn't feel like downloading and uploading the image elsewhere myself to resize it, so I ended up using a different picture.

I suggest that a native way to use your Lead Wolf's image as your usertag be implemented, whether this be that the site resizes images used as usertags automatically or a button is implemented to use the wolf's headshot natively, and it resizes itself like it does on the Members Online page.

Coding-wise, I assume the forums are not currently coded to resize usertags, which is why there is a size limit. That would have to be added. An "if bigger than X size, scale to X size" type of code would work if that's possible. With the native option, using whatever coding makes them appear the same size as custom usertags on the Members Online screen would probably work if the forums are coded similarly.

Thanks for considering my suggestion!

Yeah, honestly it's pretty confusing that the lead wolf sometimes does and sometimes doesn't show up as your tag.  It'd be good to be able to make it a proper tag automatically - and it'd be nice to be able to pick other wolves, too.

A toggle option to use your lead wolf or featured wolf as well would be nice. Some people may prefer having no image.

Though I can't remember if you could do this on the sister site. I would love the option in general to be able to generate a wolf headshot for your profile with any adult wolf (kind of like you can on Flight Rising), though that may be asking for too much.

Yes please! I've gone to the trouble of re-hosting my lead's headshot so I can have him as my user tag, but I would love a way to set this within the game. Currently, if I gave my lead decor or a new background I would have to remake my tag (or just deal with it not matching), but an automatically updating version would be much preferred.

Yes, please! I am not big on buying arts. I don't have any characters as well. I would like to be able to use a headshot of my wolf as a tag.

I think that's definitely a good option to have! Support.

I agree, I was hunting for a option similar before my commissioned icon came in, so I know there’s some sort of demand lol

Big support! The only reason I got this tag art piece was because I wanted my lead to show up as my profile pic, but didn't want to go through the hassle of getting a headshot of him right now.
