Further "Personalization" in Wardrobe/Customizer

Further "Personalization" in Wardrobe/Customizer

More often than not, when I go into the wardrobe/customizer to make a wolf for myself, I have NO idea where to start. I actually rely on the randomizer a bunch to help me come up with looks (all of my current wolves were randomized designs, with maybe one or two marking/marking color changes). But I can click that randomizer 30 times before I finally get a decent looking design (at least to my preferences). I know you can lock a marking/base/nose/etc color when I find something I like, but I'm a creature of habit and tend to go for the same markings/colors lol. The randomizer really lets me see different combinations with markings that I hadn't even thought about.

That being said, there are markings/colors I do not like. Such as the red markings. It's a personal preference/taste of mine, and I can't tell you how many frustrated groans I've done when the randomizer just constantly gives me red markings. It would be nice to have an option to exclude some colors/markings/bases. I'm aware this is probably a lot to ask for, and it would be very involved and frustrating coding I'm sure, which is why I'd suggest it to be a little more broad than super specific to one marking.

It'd be along the lines of;

"Exclude all red markings" - Makes it so no markings of that color will be chosen by the randomizer

or

"Exclude all carnage markings" - Makes it so all of the carnage markings, no matter the color, will not be chosen by the randomizer

For simplicity's sake, and the sake of the staff's sanity with coding LOL I would say you can only choose one thing to exclude, be it color or specific marking. If it ends up being an easy thing to add, I'd love to see more things I'd be able to exclude than just one! But I'd be happy with just the one lol no more red markings for me

It would also be great if I could select "customizer available markings only" in wardrobe as it's the only easy way to link designs to others, tweak an existing wolf's design, etc.

Strongly, strongly agree! I've found myself wishing I could filter out all of the warm-toned markings, as I personally much prefer the gray-scale range. (I feel exactly the same way as the OP when it comes to encountering red markings too, haha.) Very much hoping to see some form of inclusion/exclusion filter for the wardrobe added. Both for the randomise feature and simply ease of getting to your preferred markings more efficiently.

Also really support this! I love entering contests where I get to design someone else's wolf, and sometimes it's hard to remember everything I can't get in the customizer!

I also love to use the randomizer to come up with new wolf designs to see what kinds of unique marking combos I couldn't come up with myself. However I also dislike certain color groupings of markings and it would be helpful to exclude them. I also think it would be helpful if you could do the opposite and have the randomizer only choose from a certain grouping of markings.
I guess you could achieve this effect if you were able to exclude more than one color/type of marking.
Perhaps grouping the colors would make this simpler as well, such as warm vs cool color marking groups.

I support this. As the game goes on and more markings get added, it's hard to keep track of what's available in the customizer, especially for new players who weren't around for the introduction of each new mark.

(I'm neutral on the randomizer suggestion because I don't use the randomizer much, and when I do, I'd prefer it be true random;  but I wouldn't object to filtering options being added for other players to use.)
