Do people chase wolves to reroll their age sometimes?

I keep seeing the phrase "age reroll" and I'm wondering how that works.

If you are chasing a wolf under the age of 5, it will keep its age.
For players who R&C (raise wolves for the purpose of chasing them), then its best to chase a wolf at 1yo, as it will be found at 1yo.

If you chase a 4 year old wolf, it will be 4 years old when found. BUT if you chase a 5 year old, it will "reroll" the age, and that same wolf (now a NBW) would be found at a much younger age, probably 1-2 years old.

Hope that helps!

I will say that it is not for the benefit of the person chasing, but more so for the benefit of the person who finds the wolf. No one wants to find a T3 NBW to find out it only has 2-3 years of life left.

Also some people will keep a nice wolf (maybe a G3 T3 for example) in their pack, level them up, breed them, etc. Then when they are near death age, they will chase them so that someone else can have them and use them. This way they stay in the game instead of dying.
