Neventer flinched when he throw the scythe in the air, he took a little step back
"Understood, I didn't knew an ultimate criminal existed, O guess you learn something new everyday, I'm the ultimate joiner, much less impressive"
He says trying to socialise somehow, he flicker his tongue again tasting the air (I know snakes don't taste or sniff the air but interpret the particles of scent and all but tasting is easier and more understandable)
"I didn't know Ultimates existed til I stole all of the stuff from the Ultimate Detective's lab back in 2017. I think the guy who owned it was called... Shuichi Saihara. I like using his name as if he was god himself, cause why not?" Artemis smiled to himself, and kicked up a dagger from his bag.
"My talent ain't so impressive either. Just cut a few throats and maybe burn somethin down and rob some places with famous stuff in them then bang. Ultimate Criminal." Artemis said, dragging his dagger oh-so lightly across his own neck. "Though it might be pretty hard to not get caught at all, Like I did." He said, holding something from Neventer's bag.
she looked at her phone only to find a certain notification that made her drop her smile, her tail quickly let go of Artemis's leg as she backed away and quickly walked to the bathroom "I-I gotta go real quick.." she said before she left, she brushed a wing against Artemis before she left though, she slamed the door open and shut, she hid under the sink in there staring at her phone
Neventer listen and already regret coming to the school, it's been like 20 minutes, it's a record, upon seeing him holding one of his belongings he looked inside his bag then at Artemis and back at his back, he let out a low hiss, he's frustrated but he definitely don't want to pick a fight, he just hold his backpack close to him, Neventer look at Sky leaving to the bathroom and slamming the door
"Is she alright?"
He ask to no one in particular, he then remember that there's a robber in front of him look back at Artemis holding his backpack even tighter against his chest
"No clue. I met her like- 40 minutes ago And I'm pretty sure I don't care." He shrugged, and tossed the item over to Nevener's bag, shrugging. He'd quickly scratch his antlers, peeling off a bit of his velvet. He'd put it in a small bag, before turning to Neventer. "Got any spare bandages? I'm gonna need alot, It's shedding season."
"True"
Neventer gladly put his object back in his backpack, he then rummage through it a bit but only take out very small bandages
"I only have small ones"
He explains, he carries them around in case he were to hurt himself with his tools
"Shedding you mean your antlers will be bloody and stuff? Does it hurt?"
He ask genuinely curious
"It's velvet shedding season right now, so doesn't hurt too bad. But when I'm shedding the antlers themselves it does, since they're part of my skull." He'd explain, taking it and wrapping it around the bleeding spot. "It even causes behavior changes, which I hate. Because one day I wake up perfectly fine, but it's shedding season and then I start having the urge to spike people's heads on my antlers when they say one word! I'm just glad today isn't one of them.." Artemis sighed, his ears flicking.
she walked out of the bathroom with her wings curled tightly around her body and her arms folded, she walked over to them with her head down "S-sorry for runin of there yall, just had something pop up, nothing to worry about" she'd say and give them a fake smile and walk to her locker there she grabbed her Samari sword and swung it around, then she noticed his antlers bleeding "oh my! are you okay? is it your time of the year? i have bandages if you want?" she asked worriedly and grabbed a bag filled with bandages and more stuff for wounds
"Thanks. And yeah, It's shedding season. More specifically velvet shedding but I really don't care about labels." He'd say, taking one and wrapping it around his bleeding antler. He'd rest against the locker, speaking softly. "Goodness.. I need to sit down soon or something, my head's spinnin."
she looked worried as he leaned against the locker, she held a wing out to brush his shoulder and her tail wrapped slightly around his leg "Hey.. you ok? cmon, theres a bench over there" she said softly tugging him gently over the the bench, there she sat him down and wrapped a wing around his back subconsciously, she pulled some medication out of her backpack and handed him two headache pils "here, take these, it'll help dont worry!" she smiled at him, but hidden in her face was worry as she started to bite her bottom lip, her fangs making it bleed slightly
