sooo sorry again for the sudden closing and long hiatus - it turned out the charger was not the problem, so i then spent a stubborn two weeks trying absolutely everything my husband and i could think of to diagnose the laptop and bring it back to life. ( it's a $2k gaming laptop that i've had for 5/6 years, which is why im very clingy when it comes to it lol ) eventually we just had to buy a new (well - refurbished) laptop, hoping this one will last me a good year or two until i can get a desktop. 

anyways! boring computer stuff aside...
