Like others have said, I feel it's extremely dumb for a herbie to know what herbs to collect but not know how to use them, alchemists leave my poor ol' herbie alone

More roles in general are great, to give my wolves something to do.
Also, is it weird that I've never won a raffle or raffle stud slot? Do a lot of folks get them? I have no idea.

Im Glad The Wolvden Team Is Putting More Polls For The Alchemist Role. @REN - I Also Have Never Won A Raffle, But I Have Won A Stud Raffle Two Times.

Oml Making the alchemist & Herbalist distinctly separate is the best option to placate both the "herbalist is a special role" peeps and the "me want wizard doggie/alchemists would be awesome" peeps!

An alchemist/apothecary working alongside the herbalist sounds nice. I would love being able to craft medicines without having to wait to forage new herbs as well. Maybe the role could be unlocked at higher (lead) levels? And at lower levels, it's still the Herbalist role who has to perform both tasks...

maybe the alchemist can create other kinds of potions, like a potion for increased health/strength/stam for a period of time, like 30 min
that way herbalist can still be the med wolf and alchemist will have a function

I like the idea of an alchemist role, but I don't want it to overwrite or change the herbalist.

In my opinion the herbalist is focused on herbs and cures to maintain the health of the pack while the alchemist makes more advanced potions and elixirs that leads, scouts, and hunters could use. My suggestions on the potions and elixirs listed below.

Leads could use an elixir before battle that increase a specific stat for battle or a potion that increases chance to find more amusement, food, or battle trophies while exploring. Effect is only temporary like for 1hr or so.

Hunters could maybe have a potion to find specific scent trail or a chance to bring back 2 carcasses instead of 1. We have hunting parties of 5 wolves typically. You'd think they'd bring back more than 1 critter.

Scouts could use the stat increase elixir when scouting a zone you need to discover or a potion that gives a chance to bring back more items from rescouting.
