Hi! I got a few questions! What's the fire packs's power? What's the forest pack's power? What's the underworld pack's power? Air pack can fly, which seems a bit OP considering how big wolves are. If the air pack wanted to kill someone, they could just drop rocks on them until their target dies. Wolves are big and strong and hunt in packs- they would be devastatingly efficient in a pack because then they could just drag their prey into the sky and drop them. We might need to buff the other packs to be equal in power in that case. You said that the water pack can stay underwater for a very long time- how long? Hours? Days? Can they hold their breath underwater and can they breathe underwater? Maybe one of their powers isn't just being a good swimmer- it's being able to see perfectly underwater and swim as fast as if they were running. Maybe they have the ability to store water in themselves, and they can breathe it out slowly to form a mist that only they can see through due to their underwater vision powers, and hunt that way. Can I suggest some? IMO fire breath is OP- so we'll say that the fire pack has an unusually high body temperature making them immune to most bacteria- because much like a fever, illnesses can't withstand those temperatures. Members of the fire pack also don't need to drink water, or any moisture at all. However, being completely submerged is dangerous for them. It brings them down to sickly low temperatures for several hours- during which they lose immunity to all the diseases and become very weak. Members of the fire pack use firestick farming to regulate the forest like the Indigenous Australians did to keep undergrowth in check and to grow new plants, and they also use fire to drive out small prey which they catch and eat. The reason why the fire pack and water pack dislike each other is because of the fire pack's natural weakness to water, and the mists that the water pack creates can cause harm to fire pack wolves. The power of the forest pack is to be capable of subsisting entirely on plants, dirt and sunlight. This mightn't seem too powerful at first- until you realise that wolves in the wild are normally shy because they don't want to get hurt. Getting hurt drains precious resources. But since the other packs are pretty good at hunting by the sounds of it, let's bump things up for the forest pack. The forest pack doesn't feel as much pain as they should, and they regenerate really fast and don't normally bleed. They're hard to kill just like a tree is hard to kill, their fur is like bark and they can grow back their limbs if those are cut off. The only way to permanently kill one is to cut off their head. Copy pasting your idea Gendfluid femboy! Let me suggest: Underworld pack has necromancy. They want to disband and imprison the other packs so they can farm the magical wolves for their powers- which would be extremely efficient because of their necromancy, they would have the powers of ALL of them at once. And maybe they think that the other wolves are OP or something and want to nerf them. IDK, pure evil races don't really appeal to me so I would like to worldbuild a twisted government or religion related reason why they want to commit genocide. Just some ideas! |

Picture of wolf:  (backstory) Lore: As a pup Moon was neglected just because he was different. Different how you ask? Well when he was born he had blue accident markings when he was born so his parents disliked him and showed no love for him but only for his siblings so he told himself he would never be fearful or friendly to other unknown wolves and he will protect his pack whether its losing his life.
