Trophies farming & MOD

Trophies farming & MOD

Hello! I'm still quite new to this game so I think this is the right place to post this question ^^

Today I bought Sentinel Variant Recipe, so I decided to start farming trophies for it. I already have enough skulls and spores, and half the fangs, but I'm still missing 2 fangs, all the claws and all the wolf tails. My lead is currently level 13 and I know that enemies at level 5 and above have a chance to drop trophies, but what would be the best biome to farm? Do you think it's worth it more to just fight every canine I find that is above level 5, or should I limit myself to those level 10 and higher? Does enemy's level matter or just my lead's?

Also a side question: when it comes to mutie on demands, do you have any tips on trying to obtain them? Grinding 600+ GC seems like it would take ages if I was to just sell event Markings and good slot drops. Any tips?

Thank you in advance! ^^

So if you're still looking for some answers to this, here's some info and stats lol

On the finding trophies, I would say fight any over level 5 and don't try to for any 3+ levels higher than your lead (not really worth the energy waste, as you'll most likely loose the fight without some pure luck; I would even say higher than 1 level higher would be inefficient). Also, get the talent (Talents page) "Scavenger" (the skull symbol), which gives you +5% chance of dropping a trophy. Generally speaking, check out the different combat talents for your own preferred style of fighting (different ones give different bonuses for different moves). Anyway, here's the statistics on wolf and canid encounters, using this as a reference (may be outdated, but I don't think it is; generally speaking, this will be a great thing to check if you need to find a specific type of enemy!).

Glacier: 5/19 wolves, 3/19 other canids (8/19 canids)
Tundra: 4/23 wolves, 3/23 other canids (7/23 canids)
Taiga: 4/20 wolves, 2/20 other canids (6/20 canids)
Conifer Forest: 4/19 wolves, 3/19 other canids (7/19 canids)
Mountains: 6/20 wolves, 3/20 other canids (9/20 canids)
Grasslands: 4/17 wolves, 3/17 other canids (7/17 canids)
Deciduous Forest: 4/15 wolves, 3/15 other canids (7/15 canids)
Riparian Woodland: 4/16 wolves, 3/16 other canids (7/16 canids)
Prarie: 4/17 wolves, 5/17 other canids (9/17 canids)
Desert: 3/21 wolves, 4/21 other canids (7/21 canids)
Swamp: 4/18 wolves, 3/18 other canids (7/18 canids)
Rainforest: 4/18 wolves, 2/18 other canids (6/18 canids)

------
As for the MODs:
So, these are part of the Black Friday sale (last year's news post on it), with the $49.99 Tier being the minimum to get them. There will probably be new variants this year, if we're to assume it will be the same as on LioDen (although, that also entirely depends on the Dev team and whatever they have planned and will have ready). Currently, there is no other way to get the MOD item, so if you're not able to spend actual money on the game, and don't want to struggle through earning the GC to buy one from another player, it may be much better to consider trying to just breed wolves with the mutation. The mutation (at least Piebald, as so far I believe that is the only MOD item) will have a chance to naturally pass to any offspring, with the chance being doubled if both parents share that mutation. Studs and even wolves with the mutation already are much more likely to be far cheaper than the MOD item itself.
