I'd like to submit an entry for pair #5.

There was always something slightly off about [insert name] and [insert name]. It is not only that they look exactly alike, though their parents found this a bit unsettling, but the way they behaved and spoke. As if they were one wolf. If one did something, the other would sure enough do the same at the exact same time. Sometimes they would finish each other's sentences, but mostly they spoke in union. Frankly, it creeped their parents out.

[insert name] and [insert name] always had a strong. They always knew where the other was, then they were separated, and could feel what the other feels. Sometimes they could even read each other's mind. Even though they thought of it as an incredible gift they agreed to never tell anyone else. They were already seen as weir, there was no need to make it worse.

Their parents hoped they would stop, then they were older. They didn't, so their parents decided to ask the leader if one of them could be sent to an allied pack. The leader agreed and [insert name] was sent away. None of them there happy about it and felt miserable, as if a part of their soul was missing. One day they just walked away without saying anything. As always they knew exactly where the other was. They were together again at last and nothing else matters.

Орлово Крило was worried.
Six darknesses before, the snow had fallen thick and heavy, covering trails and paths, smells and tracks.
In the morning, the hunters had left the den under a robin blue sky, the youngest two jumping and roling in the snow like overexcited pups. They had returned dispirited, tired and hungry, with not even a rat to show for their efforts. Орлово Крило had told them not to worry, it's hard to hunt in the snow, but the pack two bovines and a couple of rabbits, there was no need to worry. The sun would soon melt the snow and the next hunt would go batter.
That darkness more snow had fallen, and more the following light.
Light after light, the snow had continued to fall and on the fourth light, Орлово Крило had divided the last rabbit between the youngest pups.
That darkness, the pack had gone to sleep hungry.

Now, Орлово Крило had woken up before the sun. The snow was at it's highest still and it was up to him, as leader, to find a solution or the pack would die.
"My, you are the greatest!" Danger said, bouncing up to him , followed by he pups she was taking care of, "at last a decent breakfast!"
Breakfast? Danger tended to be a bit scatterbrained but not this much!
Орлово Крило looked back at the entrance of the cave and sure enough, half the pack was busily tearing apart a BEAR carcass!
Since whishing upon a star had never worked so far, Орлово Крило decided the bear must have come from somewhere else.
The good thing about fresh snow is that paw prints stand out, and there was a double trail leading into the thivket to the side of the den. In silence, he followed them.
What he expected to find, he did not know, but certainly not a pair of adolescents, with fu the colour of darkness sharing a meaty bone.
He had no idea who they were. Thieves? But if so, where had the meat come from?
Well-doers? How could to youngsters have taken down an adult bear?
And why were they alone.
He was so confused that he did something he had not done since he was a tiny pup: he stepped on a twig.
Cringing, he watched the two adolescents raise their heads from their breakfast.
"Was it okay?" one of them said.
"I hope it was. The pups were hungry" said the other.
"For us it was too much."
"Far too much."
"Thought we could share..."
"Who are you?" asked Орлово Крило when he finally manged to get a word in.
"I'm (insert name)"
"And I'm (name 2)"
"We are alone."
"Our pack died. The bear killed everyone."
"But father and uncle killed him!"
"Before..."
One of the youngsters hid her head in her sister's flank, the other sniveled loudly.
"Now we are alone. No pack, no friends."
"No den, no family."
"Yet you gave almost all your food to us" said Орлово Крило,  "and hid instead of asking for a place to stay."
"mama said never to impose" said th first ado.
"And papa told us to be careful of strangers. But the pups were crying..."
Орлово Крило nodded. The twins were bright and bold, and kind in the heart, and now they had a new home.
