FREQUENTLY logged out in the middle of session

As the title says, I’ve been getting frequently booted in the middle of session. Sometimes in the middle of exploring or drafting a forum post, I’ll be told that I am not logged in.

Has anyone else been experiencing this? Any tips or things that trigger the booting for others?

When you log in, do you say "Remember Me"? When I don't log in with that ticked, I get logged out randomly as well. Otherwise, I stay logged in until I log out.

Has anyone found a fix for this? 

Even clicking ‘remember me’ I’m logged out every time I leave the tab and sometimes even when I don’t, looking at my user log I logged in 25 separate times yesterday... which I think is more than I should probably have to. I never had this issue with Lioden or any other website so I’m totally lost.

You’re getting logged out because the site considers you idle when you open a new tab or stay on the same page (like when drafting a long post) for a certain amount of time. It decreases lag on the servers and protects your account in case you’ve walked away from your computer or something. So far the only way to fix this is by ticking the Remember Me? box when you log in, which keeps you permanently logged in until you log yourself off.

The only fix would be suggesting an increase in the time it takes to consider an account idle!

‘Remember Me?’ wasn’t working, but I messed around with my browser settings and it doesn’t happen as often anymore - which is odd, but hey, I’m not complaining.
