Is Wolvden Unusually Slow?

Just what the title says. Has anyone else noticed Wolvden loading unusually slowly for them since the beginning of this week? My wifi works fine on all other sites, I'm in North America without using a VPN, and Wolvden loaded fine before. It's just taking a long time to load pages and for button clicks to go through. Often I find my battle encounters timing out before the battle will register. 		senne

Yep, you're not the only one, at least as far as myself and some people in "Help" part of chat talked about, though my experience has been slow since just before Update #111, when I also had loads of 502 errors (fortunately, I haven't had them since, and the loading speed has actually improved this week for me).
Fyi, I'm from Europe, I do use a VPN (I keep my country's IP though!) and I have excellent wifi.
I would say this is just because of the Halloween Event and increased traffic to the website. It would likely be worse if the lunar event was on at the same time... I'm not sure what to recommend for you, but if it is reeeeally slow, and you get 502s and frequent time outs, you could report it as a bug. Though I'm pretty sure all the staff are well aware of these issues.

So glad to hear I'm not the only one! The 502 errors and time outs are exactly what's happening here. It's taking me 15 minutes to feed my 14 wolves and 13 pups sometimes
I suspected it's the influx of users from the Halloween event too. But is 700 users really causing that much strain on the servers? Even when I play at night when a lot less people are online, the lag is the same. 		senne

I'm glad someone else mentioned this.

But for me, I've been experiencing this since before the Halloween event and, same as the above user said, I've also noticed it when the number of members online has been low. 		Ryoodlen

I remember when was +1000 online and even then server worked normal. Now I'm noticed that sometimes site think a little harder then usually

@senne, I too have noticed sometimes there's been 700 members, other times 300 and yet it still lags like idk what. I've experienced literally 30+ 502 errors this week...! The occasional timed out error too...

I've heard that before big updates, the site slows down but I'm still experiencing these issues tho not as much as the week went by

Oh it for sure has been extra slow, even my friend who has a really good computer got "502 bad gateaway" the other day. Really weird.

I have fiber internet and it can take 2-3 MINUTES to load pages, if I don't hit a 502 bad gateway error. Makes me not wanna play most of the time or check in once a day if that.

Wolvden is crazy slow and my internet is typically really good. I love the game so I'd love to play more but for a game like this which requires so much clicking & loading new pages all the time I just can't bring myself to rollover more than once every so often nowadays.
