One day lotus was playing with the other puppies and the spirit of the last ladder come to lotus and told her she will teach her how to be a great ladder of the pack One day spirit came to her at night and she said lotus pretend she was a pack member and lotus said stop that right now or I will kick you of the pack and the spirit said that was very good little one The next night the spirit came back and taught her some ladder manners and taught her how to fight to become a ladder Months later she still came by to teach her things how to become a ladder One year later the spirit came back to check on her and lotus said I'm a ladder now thank you so much for teaching me how to be a ladder One year and three months later the spirit came back and told lotus you will be a ladder and a peace keeper |

Lotus remembers one of the lessons well, her and Tala were hunting when they came across a deer caught in a human trap still alive. Lotus was revolted at how humans would leave there stuff everywhere with no regard for nature and her mountains. Knowing that she couldn't leave the deer there she tried to snap the rope with her teeth, but it wasn't working so Tala gave her a suggestion that maybe she should try and loosen the rope instead of snaping and it. Lotus did as she was told and found that it was much easier, when the snare had loosened enough the deer was freed as a gift for freeing her the deer gave lotus a Lunar star dream earing. Lotus learned 2 valuable lessons that day, work smarter not harder, and a little act of kindness goes a long way. Lotus would later confess to Tala that she feels like the pack hates her. Tala would say to her "haters don't really hate you, they hate themselves as you are a reflection of what they wish to be." but I am always making mistakes, "Mistakes are proof that you are trying." This would give Lotus the courage and determination to continue making mistakes and learning and Tala continued to train her and soon she knew the best times to send out a hunt and how to read the mountains. But it wouldn't be long before Tala would say it was time for her to leave. Lotus was sad to say goodbye to her mentor but would forever be grateful for what Tala taught her. The pack was still sceptical of Lotus's abilities to lead them, they acknowledged that she was trying her hardest, but they still didn't respect her. Lotus's time to prove herself was just around the corner, when she heard wind of two neighbouring packs started to fight in Lotus's territory. Not wanting to drag her own pack into a war, right after fighting of starvation and seeing the disruption in the peace of the mountains, she went to both leaders asking for them to talk in out. They both agreed and with Lotus watching they settled their differences. Both packs thankful for her talking sense into them bestowed her with gifts and the mountains itself gave her the name Keeper of Peace. |

Lotus always had her head in the clouds. She was always too busy thinking of who she liked to pay attention to her teachers/mentor. She was always throwing her teachers/mentor for a loop. One day, one of her teachers/her mentor came up with a plan. They tried to show her that even though she was a charming young one, she would never impress anyone unless she could focus on her work and get her tasks done. After that, she worked even harder at her work and tasks. In the end, she was the fastest and strongest person in her clan/group/class and was able to stay charming even though she became competent. (I know it's not the best, but I had fun!) |

The lone wolf turned out to be an Alpha of another pack, Thunder the snow and Lotus' mother were surrounded. Lotus' mother howling a warning to the rest of the pack alerted Lotus to her mother in danger. Instead of making sure the pack left the territory she took charge making certain wolves stay behind and others followed her to her mother and their Alpha. As she and the others arrived, teeth bared and claws ready for battle she launched herself at the other packs Alpha, her jaw open and ready to clamp onto the others weak spot. The pack members that followed her did the same to the other Alpha's pack mates. The battle lasted for hours and Lotus' mother and their current Alpha battled along side her. The enemy packs Alpha , eventually defeated,. The enemy pack members stopped their battling after one somber howl. Lotus stood atop the enemy packs former leader, her teeth bared as a rippling snarl echoed across the space. "I am the heir to this pack! I will not let enemy packs attack my home! Run! Tell your allies that your Alpha was defeated, tell them that my pack is not to be messed with!" She snarled ferociously. The members ran with their tails tucked whimpering. The battle was won and she now realized she wanted to be the packs new Alpha. |
