It was late in the evening, a slight breeze filled the air, when Evercrisp caught a scent. It was smoky, and her instincts told her to run – it smelt like the fire, of which she is terrified of. Just as she begun to turn a paw away, another scent filled her nose – bacon. Or at least she doesn't know what bacon is, only that it smelt divine. Pressing herself against a rock, she peered over the small hill that separated her from the smell. Drats. Two-legs filled the area. Determined for her fill on this delicious smell, she persisted and waited until the two-legs disappeared into their large, sun-coloured cave. Still stayed flat, she crawled her way towards the fire, her ears and body perking up when she finally nabbed some bacon. Yes! Feeling quite dehydrated after the salty meat, Evercrisp stood stall and searched for some water. Spotting a cup, she trotted over and without a thought, she eagerly started lapping up the liquid. Her search for water blindsided her tastebuds – by the time she had finished the whole cup, only did she realise the awful taste. Shaking her head, she decided to travel home. On the way, she became increasingly dizzy, fuzzy and her vision had little, black spots floating around. She also gained the giggles. Oh boy.
