Hesperia
"Herbalist"
"Come on little wolf, you're going to be meeting your new pack, to a wonderful new family." The enclave bear hushed with a smile, pushing the pup along gently towards the end of the enclave den.
Hesperia walked along, a little prance to her steps as she tried to keep herself calm, excitement coursing through her body as she walked. Her eyes brightening as she saw a small female wolf waiting for her, her tail wagging slightly while a large black wolf stood beside her, examining the pup and another large wolf stood beside him who seemed a little arrogant but friendly none the less.
The small female wolf stepped forward, crouching as her tail wagged and crawled up to her, Hesperia walking up to the female excitedly. "Hello little one, my names Fallon, this is Alarik our pack alpha…he looks mean but hes very nice, and then there is Izumi, our Herbalist."
"Hi, i'm Hesperia.." Hesperia grinned, her tail wagging, Fallon chuckled and gave her cheek a small lick before standing back up and gestured for the pup to follow.
Adolescent:
"Hesperia!" Izumi barked as Hesperia got distracted from her work, causing her to jump. "Listen and pay attention! You'll get a poor wolf sick if you don't pay attention to what you're putting together plus waste precious supplies."
"Sorry, Izumi." Hesperia breathed, quickly pouring the liquid into the wooden bowl.
"Better, you're getting older Hesperia and you'll eventually take over and i need to make sure you're ready." Izumi muttered, shaking her head as she walked over to Hesperia. "You're doing well, you just need to pay attention."
"I know, i'm sorry." Hesperia sighed nodding as she sat down, gazing up at izumi, taking a breath in.
"Its okay.." Izumi murmured softly, nuzzling Hesperia's cheek.
Adult:
"Izumi! Oh izumi please wait!" Hesperia called as she rushed over to izumi who was readying to leave the pack. Izumi turned around to Hesperia, gazing at her with a soft smile as Hesperia rushed over and buried her snout into izumi's neck fluff. "Please don't leave.."
"Don't be silly Hesperia, you know i must go, it is my time to leave." Izumi said gently, her tongue cleaning and grooming Hesperias fur.
"But what if i'm not ready? Will i ever see you again?" Hesperia asked, pulling back and gazed up at izumi with worried eyes.
"You are ready, Hesperia." Izumi nodded, sighing as she started picking little pink flowers up and started placing them in Hesperia's pelt. "We'll meet again perhaps one day."
"I'll miss you.." Hesperia breathed, her head lowering as her gaze turned to the floor. Izumi smiled warmly down at the young herbalist and pressed her forehead against hers, a sigh escaping her lips before pulling away and licked Hesperia's forehead before turning and walked off into the dark forest. Hesperia sitting down as she gazed on and watched as her mentor left.
