Raging Storm🌩

Lore:
Stalking along the edge of a hill Nightmare looked out over his vast domain. Suddenly an eerie howl echo across the vast expanse of plain and Nightmare shifted his thickly furred head towards the sound. The howl sprung, yet again, from the across the plains and Nightmare's patience started to wear thin. This wolf needed to leave his territory, and now. Lifting his head towards the moon he let out a long howl of his own. Thinking he had rid this intruding wolf from his land he contentedly trotted on continuing his rounds. Coming upon a small trickling stream he dipped his head for a drink. Across the plain just out of his territory was the wolf whom he believed to have chased away. Growling a little Nightmare lifted his head and set off at a fast pace across the open area towards the shaggy gray wolf determined to have this punk fleeing, tail between legs. As the old wolf got closer to the youngster he noticed scars down the wolf's body. A shot of sympathy flashed in his brain for the young wolf who had endured these wounds but that all dissipated when the thing stepped out on too his domain as if taunting him. Letting loose a ferocious growl Nightmare tore after the gray crashing though brush and brambles without abandon. Finally catching up to the scarred fellow Nightmare let loose a ragged breath. His age was getting too him, but not enough to let this young one beat him in a foot race. The thought sent an easy smile too his white furred muzzle.
"Lagging behind there Grandpa?" the gray wolf taunted hopping forward a bit to snap at him.
"If I were lagging then how did I catch you?" Nightmare grumbled logically.
The youngster sighed, "Way to take the fun out of everything there old man." The wolf let out another sigh adding in a dosage of heavy eye rolling and plopped down to the ground.
"Do you even have anywhere to go?" Nightmare asked glaring down his nose at the sitting wolf.
"Just know how to bring the conversation down don't you old man," the gray laid a paw over his eyes to hide Nightmare from view but said nothing else.
Taking that as a no he asked, "Would you like to come back with me? See how life with my pack is like?"
Lifting his paw away from his snout the wolf looked up at Nightmare, "You would do that for me?"
"Of course! I live to serve my pack and you look like as good of an addition as any."
"Not special?" the gray snuffed at him as if taken aback.
Now it was Nightmares turn to roll his eyes, "Come on you fool lets at least get back before the pups eat all the good food."
Jolting to his feet the youngster sprinted towards the direction they had come calling over his shoulder, "Last one there is a rotten egg!"
